How many different kinds / species of celestial beings do you suppose that there are?We know of seraphim, chief princes, cherubim, the four beasts about the throne, the sons of God, the women in Zechariah 5 with wings like storks, angels, white horses that fly, etc. There could even be others that the LORD created, that are not mentioned in the scriptures. Many celestial beings are in the third heaven, but there could be many of them that are out and about, in the second heaven. There are some under chains of darkness, and some in the bottomless pit. There are a number of them moving about us on the earth, many invisible, and some entertained by us unawares. Is it possible that:
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Is not only referring to a hierarchy in that realm, but possibly delineating different kinds / species?i.e. that the celestial principalities are different than the celestial powers? What happened to celestial beings when they fell?e.g. when Lucifer went from the anointed cherub that covereth, to the dragon, Satan the devil?Did that all happen instantly, or did it take some time for him to become who he is now? When man fell, not only did he change spiritually, but even physiologically. Was there anything similar that happened to celestial beings when they fell? When there is war amongst celestial beings, are they able to hurt one another, like cutting off a limb?Do they fell pain and pleasure?Do they grow in knowledge? They apparently do not experience mortal death like man, but are they not potentially subject to the second death, like we are?
I ask these things, because you clearly have studied celestial beings, a lot, and I was interested how you view these different topics.
