Hello John and all
doves,
Well it’s here “pride (in sin) month”.
I used to actually like the month of June, early summer,
warm but not too hot yet, my brother’s birthday is later in
the month - but now I struggle just to get through June and
all the blatant wickedness trying to shove their sin in my
face all month long.
This time of year always makes me ask “When O Lord, and how
much longer?”
It is so interesting and timely that my studies in the
Bible brought me to Ephesians 5 the very first week of pride
month. This video covers the topic of marriage and why
it is so important to God and why anything other than one man
one woman corrupts a prophetic picture of Christ and the
church. This video also covers something currently in
the news regarding Ephesians 5:11. A pitcher for the
Toronto Bluejays, Anthony Bass, shared a video on his social
media in which someone uses Ephesians 5:11 as a proof text as
to why we should avoid companies that are pushing the
transgender agenda such as Target and Bud Light - and he
promptly had to retract that because of pressure from his
corporate woke overlords! This video covers that issue
as well.
“Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord;
Though they join forces, none will go unpunished.”
Proverbs 16:5
“In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your
deeds In which you transgress against Me; For then I will
take away from your midst Those who rejoice in your pride,
And you shall no longer be haughty In My holy mountain. I
will leave in your midst A meek and humble people, And they
shall trust in the name of the Lord.”
Zephaniah 3:11-12
“Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his
wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let
the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories
glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am
the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and
righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says
the Lord.”
In this month while the world takes pride in its sin and
rebellion, let us combat the darkness with the light and
only take pride in our God who has made a way to redeem us,
and that He has revealed Himself to us in Yeshua, Jesus that
we might understand and know Him. And may God grant to us to
share this message with meekness, gentleness and love to
those still in the darkness and rejoicing and taking pride
in thier sin.
Blessing from your brother in Christ,
Derrick Drew
