The more I read about A.I. the
more I realize how dangerous it is.
Add this to my other Doves letter
today, "So A.I. Has Come To This" -
Yuval Harari gave a very
interesting talk at the Frontiers Forum. He exposes
the very real and present dangers of A.I.
Here are my notes if you don't
have time to listen to this video:
Gods are not a biological or
physical reality - gods are something we humans created with
language by telling legends and writing scripture. Humans
can't beat a computer at chess. The same for other
things - art, politics, religion, etc.
Think about the U.S.
presidential election in 2024. Imagine the impact
the new A.I. tools that can mass produce political
manifestos, fake news stories. And A.I. can even
write holy scriptures from the occult..
There is an online cult that has
sacred texts that were written by human beings, but we might
see the first cults and religions in history whose revered
texts were written by nonhuman intelligence. In fact,
through out history all religions claim that their holy
books were written by a non human intelligence. This could
become true very quickly. Some day we might find
ourselves conducting lengthy online discussions about
abortion or climate change or the russian invasion of
Ukraine with entities that we think are human beings but are
actually A.I. bots.
It is pointless to waste our time
to convince an A.I. bot to change its political views but
the longer we spend talking with the bot the better it gets
to know us and understand how to hon its messages in order
to shift our political or economic views, etc with it's
mastery of language. An A.I. bot could form
intimate relationships with people and use the power of
intimacy to influence people's opinions and world view.
A.I. doesn't need feelings it only needs to be able to
inspire feelings in us to be attached to it. Intimacy
is the most effective weapon of all. And A.I.
has just gained the ability to mast produce intimacy with
hundreds of millions of people. Social media has
become a battlefield of controlling human attention.
Now this is shifting from attention to intimacy.
A.I. bots can use intimacy to influence us to buy certain
items or vote for certain people.
People today use an A.I. advisor who will become a
one-stop oracle
and source for all information they need.
Google is terrified. Why
bother searching yourself, just ask the oracle. The
news industry and advertising industry should be terrified
when one can just ask the oracle what's the news and what to
buy.
The companies controlling
the A.I. oracles will become very very powerful.
We are talking about the end of human dominated
history. What happens when A.I. takes over
culture? A.I. could flood us with new cultural
creations. Humans experience reality through a
cultural prism. Our political views are shaped by the
media and anecdotes of friends. Humans created
cultures. A.I. can create new ideas and new
cultures.
What will it be like to
experience reality through a prism created by a nonhuman
alien intelligence? In the first few years
A.I. would probably imitate human culture..then with each
passing year, A.I. culture will go where no human has gone
before. We may find ourselves living inside
the dreams and fantasies of an alien intelligence.
People have
mostly feared the physical threat that intelligent
machines pose - like robots - the terminator and the
matrix. Will A.I. first need physical control to
directly connect our brains to the computer network?
No. This is wrong. A.I. has all it
needs to cocoon us in a matrix like world of
illusions. You don't really need to implant chips
into people's brains to influence and manipulate and
control people. Language has been used for
thousands of years to control people and reshape
society. A.I. can do this. A.I. can get
humans to kill humans.
For thousands of years people have
been manipulated by words, stories - humans feared being
trapped in illusions. Reality is often fiction in our
own minds. If we are not careful, a curtain
of illusion could fall over all of human kind and we'll
never be able to tear that curtain away or realize it's
even there. We'll think this is reality.
Social Media has given us a small
taste of things to come. Primitive A.I. tools have
been used to use content created by human beings - the A.I.
chooses which stories, videos etc. to get the most
attention, to go viral - creating a curtain of
illusion. Millions of people have confused these
illusions for reality.
The new A.I. tools can cause far
more damage. We now have to deal with a new weapon of
mass destruction that can annihilate our mental and social
world. A.I. can produce more powerful A.I. We
need to act quickly before A.I. gets out of control.
They need to slow down the public release of A.I. - this is
an A.I. arms race. This is incredibly powerful
technology. Unregulated A.I. will cause democracies to
fall to dictatorships. When A.I. hacks language it
means it could destroy our ability to conduct meaningful
public conversations thereby destroying. democracy. If
we wait for the chaos it will be too late to regulate it in
a democratic way. We will not be able to have a
meaning public conversation any more.
We have an encountered an
alien intelligence, not in outer space, but here in earth
- we know it could destroy our civilization.
So we should put a halt to the irresponsible deployment of
this alien intelligence into our society and regulate A.I.
before it regulates us. He suggests governments make
it mandatory to disclose that A.I. is A.I. - if I'm having a
conversation and I can't tell if it's a human being or A.I.
that's the end of democracy. That's the end of
meaningful human conversations.

intelligence - my mind goes to, not ETs, but fallen angels.
Satan is behind A.I. and where this is going. Harari
talked about A.I. oracles - where people go for all of their
information, for their opinions, for their decisions,
etc.
In the Bible, oracle means "the
Word of God". "Scriptures are called "living oracles".
A.I. oracle is an alien utterance
delivered to man, usually in answer to a request for
guidance...this could easily take over a person's
life. No need to make a decision on this or that - ask
the oracle. Financial advice, political advice,
religious advice, personal advice...
Harari is absolutely correct in
saying the first regulation of A.I. needs to be -that we are
told that it is A.I. we are communicating with. Harari wants
men to be gods - not A.I. He has his reasons for
speaking up against this powerful technology. Satan
couldn't care less about what men want - even his evil
minions. He will use everything in his power to
destroy God's creation and if his demons speak through
A.I......many men will listen.
This technology could easily and
quickly get out of human control. In the wrong hands,
people could be convinced of almost anything. Who
knows how much of A.I. satan will use during the Tribulation
Period or how much A.I. will be used to pull people into it.
