EXODUS RAPTURE
PENTECOST
NEW WINE FIRST
FRUITS THEORY
Prophetic Typologies
and Timelines
by Luis B. Vega
The purpose of this study is to explain the Exodus
Pentecost Day Count that could provide the clue to the timing of
the Rapture as it pertains to the Acts 2 birth of the Church Age
Dispensation. It is about how one has calculated that July 23
was and is the Feast of New Wine per this model. It is based on
the Spring Equinox and thus, the Solar Calendar. Relying on this
model, the First Fruit New Wine does not exclusively occur every
year on the 9th of Av. And Tisha B’Av is not a festive day that
the Jews celebrate. On the contrary it is the commemoration of
their national dread for having their 2 prior Temples destroyed
due to not being faithful to Jehovah.
Now, as the Rabbinical Calendar is exclusively Lunar
since the early 300s AD, some years will have the July 23 date
coincide with Tisha B’Av. It is because the Lunar Calendar flows
within the Solar Calendar. But what one has argued is that what
had transpired back in Sinai with Moses in smashing the 10
Commandment Tablets did not occur on the Tisha B’Av. Based on
this Exodus Pentecost day count, it occurred on the Feast of the
First Fruits of the New Wine. One will use 2 prior timelines to
support this claim. The 1st timeline will be when the Hebrews
left Egypt.
The 2nd timeline will exactly correspond to when Jesus was
crucified. In both timelines, the day count is the same. And
that end date was and is a July 23 which one then argues was
what occurred in Acts 2. That was when GOD came down and poured
the Holy Spirit like New Wine into the Disciples. It
commemorates the feast that Aaron prepared the camp for to
celebrate. It was the very same day Moses came down Mount Sinai
on the 50th day. Thus, it was the 99th day from Nisan 15 which
is the 1st day of the Omer Count in one’s interpretation.
One postulates that the Acts 2 Pentecost Feast of the
First Fruits of the New Wine was when the Church Age started.
Thus, it is one’s working theory that the Rapture will end its
Commission on this anniversary in some year, yet to be
determined. It is the only Feast of the 7 of Jehovah that
directly ties the Church Body. How so? One is basing this
prophetic typology on the Menorah pattern. If so, then the
Church Age has been corresponding to the 4th Stem. Now, the
Exodus Count to this Pentecost, of which there are 3 of them,
the Golden Calf coincided with the New Wine. See Exodus 32:18 in
the Brenton Septuagint Translation.
And Moses says, It is not the Voice of them that begin the
battle, nor the voice of them that begin the cry of defeat,
but the voice of them that begin the Banquet of Wine do I
hear. -https://biblehub.com/sep/exodus/32.htm
Which Shavuot?
In fact, one is of the opinion that the Feast that
Jehovah had in mind to celebrate with the Israelites, was the
Feast of the New Wine. Jehovah demanded of Pharaoh to let Israel
celebrate. Considering that based on the timeline, the only
Feast that would later become 1 of the 7 ordained ones was
Pentecost, i.e., that which was commemorated in Acts 2, not
Shavuot that the Rabbinical Jews only acknowledge. See Exodus
5:1-2.
After that, Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, This is
what the LORD, the GOD of Israel, says: Let My People go, so
that they may hold a Feast to Me in the wilderness. But
Pharaoh replied, Who is the LORD that I should obey His Voice
and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD, and I will not let
Israel go.
So, Moses was gone from the camp for 40 days as the passage
states, but it is all-inclusive in one’s estimation. This count
included the 3 days of preparation wherein Israel met and heard
the voice of Jehovah. Then it was after the 7 days that the
Elders went atop the midway plateau to dine with Jehovah in
person. That was a total of 10 days. Then Moses went up to the
summit by himself for only 30 days. The start day one is using
is from Sivan 15 when the Israelites arrived at the foot of
Mount Sinai.
This is how one calculates and interprets the 40-day
count. But then Moses came down on the 50th day. This is based
on the start day of the First Fruit of the New Wheat. So, the
people got restless and forsook Moses' headship. They asked
Aaron to fashion a different God to lead them. So, Aaron
prepared the people for the Feast, but according to their lust
not obedience or patience. Thus, the notion that it was the
Feast of the New Wine.
He took the gold from their hands, and with an
engraving tool he fashioned it into a molten calf. And they
said, These, O Israel, are your Gods, who brought you up out
of the Land of Egypt! When Aaron saw this, he built an altar
before the Calf and proclaimed: tomorrow is a Feast to the
LORD. So, the next day they arose, offered Burnt Offerings,
and presented Peace Offerings. And the people sat down to eat
and drink and got up to indulge in revelry. -Exodus 32:4-6
Note in the timeline that if one then counts the 1st 50
Day Count from Nisan 15, that lands on the Hebrew month of Sivan
and on the eve of day 6. The Israelites had not even reached
Sinai. Interestingly, this date falls on June 2nd, which is
always the 153rd day of the Gregorian Year. It does have
prophetic echoes of the 153 Fish that are emblematic of the
Church Age. It has to do with the Commission of ‘Catching the
Souls of Men’, as ‘Fish’ being caught in the Fisherman's Net.
Nonetheless, Sivan 15 is when the Israelites reached the
foot of Mount Sinai. That was to occur 10 days later from Sivan
6. However, the Rabbinical Jews celebrate Sivan 6 as ‘Shavuot’,
the ‘Giving of the Law’, but it was not when Israel was given it
as codified in the 2 Tablets. The Jewish traditional
‘Shavuot’, or the first fruits of the New Wheat is what is
called Pentecost by the Church, however, is not what matches the
day counts.
Sivan 6 is on the 52nd day on the Exodus Timeline from
Nisan 15. It does not even commemorate the 15th of Sivan when
Scripture clearly states that it was when the Israelites reached
the foot of Mount Sinai. Then it was to be 3 days to when
Jehovah addressed them directly. Even as the Jewish incorrectly
attribute Shavuot, it is only the 1st of the 3 Penta-Feasts of
First Fruits, which are now corroborated by the discovery of the
Temple Scrolls. Here are the 3 First Fruits Feasts.
1. Feast of the First Fruits of the New Wheat – a 50
Day Count.
2. Feast of the First Fruits of the New Wine – a 50 Day Count.
3. Feast of the First Fruits of the New Oil – a 50 Day Count.
As an aside observation, consider the Exodus trek out of Egypt.
In plotting the Exodus day-count on the map based on the
timeline, one realized what the average speed per day of the
Israelites was as they trekked to Sinai. Based on an approximate
throng of 3 million, the people were only able to cover about 6
miles a day. And from Tell el-Daba where Joseph’s tomb was
situated according to Bible Scholar David Rohl’s findings, to
Sinai was exactly 360 nautical miles, using Google Ground
Length. That is amazing.
It seemed the Israelites reached the Red Sea crossing on
the 40th day marker on the Exodus Timeline. And as the Egyptian
Army came to entrap them and take them back to Slavery, once
they crossed the Red Sea at Nuweiba, they marched at a
double-speed to get to the foot of Mount Sinai. Here is where
the day count is in question and based on one’s interpretation
of how the First Fruits of the New Wine was on the 99th day.
It is in the 4th month of Tammuz as the wheat harvest
ends on the Leo New Year. As noted, this day corresponds to the
2nd Shavuot count, which one asserts was and is corresponding to
the Acts 2 Pentecost event. It is on Tammuz 23 and the Feast of
New Wine, etc. And in the Gregorian day count, it correlates to
a July 23 (723). Here are the scriptural references.
EXODUS 19:1
The Scriptures precisely specify when the Israelites
reached the foot of Mount Sinai. It was the ‘Same Day’, on the
15th Day of the Month, exactly 60 Days later. That was Sivan
15. It took 2 months to reach Sinai from when the Israelites
left Egypt. That was Nisan 15. This is why one is using the
Exodus Pentecost Calendar as a prophetic template. This
timeline then corresponds to the Acts 2 event, which one
argues is the Feast of New Wine, that in turn could infer the
Rapture’s timing.
EXODUS 19:11
Notice that it was 10 days from Sivan 4, day 50 when
the Israelites arrived at the foot of Mount Sinai on day 60 or
Sivan 15. Jehovah then instructed Moses to tell the Israelites
to prepare themselves for the face-to-face presentation and
introduction of Jehovah, who saved them from slavery. These
are the 3 days of preparation. The day counts thus, is now
Sivan 18.
EXODUS 24:1
Jehovah then audibly outlined the ‘Terms and
Conditions’ of the Marriage Covenant with Israel. Israel said,
‘I Do’. Then Jehovah invited the 70 Elders to a Marriage
Supper for 7 days. It was much like the 12 Disciples at the
LORD’s Supper with Jesus and His Ketuvah, or Marriage
Contract. This will be mirrored for the Bride of Christ after
the Rapture for 7 years.
EXODUS 24:16
Then after the 7 days, it is when Jehovah instructed
Moses to go up the mountain. It was 30 days. Here is the day
count of the initial 3 days presented before Jehovah + the 7
days of the Elder’s Wedding Supper to equal 10
days. One’s timeline thus calculates that Moses was only
30 days exclusively with Jehovah on the Mountain. This
constitutes a total of a 50-day count.
The LORD’s Supper Typology
Thus, the 40-day count includes the 30 days Moses went up to
the summit of Sinai to be given the Written Covenant on those 2
Tablets of Stone. It includes the 7-day Wedding Supper and the 3
days of preparation, for a total of 40 days per one’s
interpretation for a grand total of 50 days. It was thus, on the
50th day when one argues, that Aaron alluded to the Feast of New
Wine, 40-days from Seivan 15. So, one’s point is that this
Exodus Pentecost timeline appears to corroborate with one’s
interpretation of Leviticus 23:15-16.
It is a double count of the 49 Days + 1 Day + 50
additional days to equal 99 days. This is what one argues,
corresponded to when Moses came down with the Commandment, as it
occurred on the First Fruits of the New Wine. And this is when
the Acts 2 event occurred that reversed the Sinai Curse and with
the initiation of the Church Age. This 99th day corresponds, per
the timeline, to the 4th month of the Jewish Calendar, Tammuz,
which in the modern Gregorian Calendar is July. So, will the
Rapture event that will conclude the Bride of Christ occur on
its anniversary in some year yet to come?
As to the Elder’s Wedding Supper? The following will be one’s
interpretation of how the ‘Rapture Picture’ can possibly be
extrapolated from this event. It is how Jehovah’s Marriage to
Israel, emblematic of her 70 Elders and his Wedding Supper can
be likened to the Rapture of Jesus’ Bride. It is like the LORD’s
Supper that is to be concluded in Heaven. The 70 Elder Wedding
Supper took place about half-way up Mount Sinai, in the area
just above the cave of Elijah and just before reaching the 1st
blackened peak of Mount Sinai. It is a relatively flat area that
could accommodate the 70 Elders. They were the metaphor for the
collective 12 Tribes of Israel. It is where Jehovah came down
upon that sapphire floor, transparent and how tables and a meal
were set-up.
Imagine the spectacle. They saw and dined with Jehovah,
the Creator face-to-face and they all did not die. He was
really a Christophany of Jesus, their Messiah. This is why the
Orthodox Jews revere the Sanhedrin, the body of the ruling
Elders of Zion. But how, unfortunately they have superscripted
their Oral Torah to supersede the Written Torah of Moses. This
is what Jesus called them out for, for nullifying the Word of
Jehovah with their Traditions of Man. This is what is flawed in
Rabbinical Judaism. And it was for this reason that the Elders
of Zion, the Sanhedrin sought to kill Jesus.
Consequently, this is why Moses is a type of Jesus in
that Moses had to wear a veil due to being in the presence of
Jehovah’s Glory. In a sense, Moses could not be ‘seen’ by the
Jews, entirely. And it was Moses that warned Israel of a Prophet
to come that would condemn them. And it was Moses who appeared
as 1 of the 2 Witnesses, along with Elijah, who also condemned
Israel for their wickedness that appeared with Jesus on the
Mount of Transfiguration. Note that Elijah was on Mount Sinai
also. And what if, when the transfiguration of Jesus’ body
occurred on the Mount of Transfiguration in some
interdimensional way, overlapped on Mount Sinai, devoid of
space, matter and time? In other words, Jesus spoke to both
Moses and Elijah there as well, while overlapping dimensions in
that very moment. When Moses came down, his face shone. Israel
knew it was Moses, but they could not see his face, and he had
to veil himself.
The Marriage Banquets
This is the same case with Jesus. The religious Jews
cannot see Jesus face-to-face because of the Law they believe
will merit Eternal Life. It represents Moses that cannot fully
disclose who Jehovah is to Israel. Only in Jesus is that veil
removed. That will happen once Jesus returns at the end of
Jacob’s Trouble. It will be like Joseph and his 11 brothers who
realized that it was Joseph all along who was their
Deliverer. And the deliverance of Israel and the world for
that matter is directly associated with the wheat harvest. So,
the 7 days of the 70 Elders supped with Jehovah mirrors the 7
years Jesus will likewise have with His Wife in Glory after the
Rapture.
And the Last Supper in the Upper Room was, as Moses and
the Elders went up to Sinai with the Representative of the 12
Tribes of Israel. Jesus then left, going further up to the House
of His Father to prepare that Marriage Chamber, etc. That
is amazing. Nonetheless, one contends that after the 7-day
Wedding Banquet with the 70 Elders, Moses then subsequently went
up to the Summit of Sinai for 30 days. It is stated as being 40
days, but one’s interpretation is that the days since Sivan 15
are all-inclusive to be 40 total then.
It was at that time and place where Moses received the
terms of the Marriage Covenant with Israel in stone, i.e., the 2
Tablets written by the very finger of Jehovah. It is the same in
how Jesus was called to the Father’s House and had to leave the
Disciples. However, He promised to return. And that is the
challenge for the Bride to be patient and faithful. Will she
endure and keep herself only to Jesus? In His Absence He sent
down the Holy Spirit to help empower such a commitment and
commission. Thus, this is why one is more convinced that all
this occurred on the Feast of New Wine, both at Mount Sinai in
Exodus and Mount Moriah in Acts 2.
And it was on the 99th day, the same day the Golden Calf
incident occurred and 3000 souls perished. But in Acts 2, 3000
souls were saved. The Sinai Curse was reversed. And that the
Acts 2 event matches the 99th day from Nisan 15, the Day after
Passover wherein Jesus was crucified. Jesus is what enabled the
curse to be reversed. And how now, this 2nd timeline is compared
to that of Jesus’ crucifixion in 32 AD. So, if one converts the
day count from the Jewish Calendar of 30 days each, the Tammuz
23 date corresponds to a July 23 from the day after Jesus was
crucified.
This was the case, especially when the Julian Calendar
was in place and mirrored the Jewish Calendar, until the change
to the Gregorian Calendar occurred in the West. It is rational
to assume the day count of the 40 days occurs after the Elder’s
Supper. But even if one uses this day count and attributes
and additional 10 days after the 23rd of Tammuz, one will cross
over into the 5th Jewish Month of Av. But the 40th day count
will correspond to the 3rd day, not the 9th, in that case. So,
in both timelines, that of the Exodus one of Moses and the
Crucifixion one of Jesus, the ‘9th of Av’ was not on the Feast
of New Wine. But if one sees the entire Exodus timeline, one
will see that the 99th Day from Nisan 15 is still within the 4th
Month of Tammuz, not Av, etc. However, one could be wrong, but
one is more convinced that the 9th of Av deals more so with the
Bad Report of the 10 Spies later. It is about Israel’s unbelief
and rejection.
The Time of the Wine
The Bad Report was about the day that Israel was condemned
to roam in the wilderness for 40 years. This has nothing to do
with the Church Age, nor when it began in 32 AD and conversely
on a day of rejoicing and making merry as the New Wine is
associated with and most assuredly, the downpouring of the Holy
Spirit. This cannot be said on the 9th of Av. Notice that the
evidence for why the 9th of Av was not the Feast of New Wine
initially, was that the Spies brought back ripened and mature
grape clusters. This could not have been possible during the
time of the New Wine, as the ripening had just begun by then.
So, that is the purpose of a First Fruit Feast. It was to
be a token of the whole. It is to commemorate and bless the
entire harvest to come, once fully ripened, 120 days later. In
the case of the wheat harvest, it was planted just after the
Spring Equinox, for example. The Church will only complete her
Commission as the last Gentile is ‘harvested’. Only then will
this Mystery Age, that was kept hidden, revert back to Israel
that so desperately seeks to put herself under the Law that
condemns and kills again. It will be for 7 years under their
reconstituted 70 Elders, but they are the ones that rejected
Jesus, who their forefathers directly saw and spoke to.
And that is what was precisely the case occurring during
the Feast of New Wine in Acts 2. The Disciples and those 3000
Jews that got saved were but those First Fruits of the New Wine,
the New Church, the New Wine that filled the New Wine Skins. The
harvest is yet to occur. The Church Age harvest is the wheat
harvested in the Summer that coincides with the New Wine, in
one’s interpretation. And if one superimposes the Church Age as
the 4th Stem of the 7-Branch Menorah, it is the Pentecost Age
that is still on-going. It is present and in-play until the call
to retreat, as in to leave one’s place or position as ‘Apostasy’
can be interpreted in 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
And that will occur, as one is more convinced, at the
Resurrection-Rapture call that will close-out the harvest. It is
where the wheat meets the wine. This is what one believes was
and is to be commemorated during the Feast of the Pentecost New
Wine of Acts 2 and what occurred on Sinai with Moses. It is the
only Feast of Jehovah that is directly tied to the Church Age
Body of Christ presently. Consider that if 32 AD was the
crucifixion year, then if 2 days is as 2000 years per Scripture,
then truly this is the last generation of the Church Age. Thus,
as it pertains to the Church Age of Grace, the wheat harvest has
now matured and it is time for the Bride of Christ to ‘dine with
wine’, New Wine that is.
Summary
This study proposes that the Feast of New Wine, occurring
annually on July 23, based on my calculations serves as a
critical prophetic marker for the timing of the Rapture. By
calculating a 99-day count from the 1st day of the Omer, the
study links the revelation at Mount Sinai with the outpouring of
the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. This model identifies the Church Age
as the central stem of a menorah pattern, suggesting that the
same Summer timeline governs both the birth and the eventual
conclusion of the Church Age Dispensation of grace. One argues
that while traditional calendars focus on the Giving of the Law,
the true biblical pattern emphasizes New Wine as a symbol of the
marriage covenant between Christ and His followers. Ultimately,
the study suggests that the end of the harvest for the Bride of
Christ may align with this end of the wheat harvest and
beginning of the New Wine specific anniversary in a future year.
