THE MESSAGE OF THE MENORAH - Prophetic Pattern of Creation, the Church and Rapture Timing

‘I turned around to see the Voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw 7 Golden Lampstands, and among the Lampstands was someone [Jesus] like a Son of Man, dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest. …In His right hand He held 7 Stars, and coming out of His mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the Sun shining in all its brilliance’. -Revelation 1:12-16

The purpose of this study is to ascertain several of the prophetic layers of the 7-Branch Menorah found in the Bible. This study will also investigate the numerical value and its Hebrew word meaning. One will argue that there is an anthropometric attribution to the Menorah, as personified and fulfilled in Jesus. The study will argue that such numerical values, letter and word associations could perhaps give some prophetic glimpses into the nature of what is being communicated prophetically.

These hidden meanings could be extrapolated in terms of types and shadows pertaining to the timing of the end of the Church Age and the Rapture event. It will be an approximation and based on one’s present understanding and interpretation. One believes that the Menorah Pattern follows the 7-Day Creation accounting, the 7-Feasts of Jehovah prophetically and the 7 Churches from the Book of Revelation, for example. The Menorah motif has come to become the national symbol of modern Israel. The concept of the Menorah was given by Jehovah to Moses as a type of the real one in Heaven. One is also convinced it was the Burning Bush that Moses saw in Sinai.

The Menorah is a candelabra of 7 lights that lit the Holies within the Tabernacle of Moses and the 2 subsequent Temples in Jerusalem. It is fashioned after an almond tree with nodes as blossoming flower adornments. Also, the Menorah is a type and shadow of the human form or a body, etc. For example, numerically, the center stem corresponds to the number 4 and the Hebrew letter, Dalet, which means ‘Door’. The connection was made to the Menorah in how a ‘Door’ is promised to the Church of Philadelphia in the Book of Revelation.

Prophetically, it is how the Dalet, as the 4th letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet corresponds to the 4th branch of the Menorah that corresponds to Pentecost, the 4th feast of Jehovah. But here is one’s deviation from Church teaching and tradition. The Pentecost, one argues, should correspond to the New Wine First Fruit timing, not the Jewish Shavuot of the First Fruits of the New Wheat. This is the key association and meaning of the Menorah in how it was at this Pentecost New Wine date that prophetically initiated the Church Age and perhaps it will end with the Rapture timing on its anniversary.

One argues that the present Church Age Dispensation is currently the Pentecost that is on-going. It is about the ‘harvesting’ of Souls, all inclusive of both Jew and Gentile based on Grace and not the Law. This time is the prophetic ‘Intermission’ between the 69th week and the 70th Week of Daniel. The Spring Feasts of Jehovah were fulfilled prophetically by Jesus as Prophet. He will also see the fulfillment of the Fall Feast of Jehovah by Jesus as King at His 2nd coming. Presently though, Jesus is ministering as High Priest tending to the 7-Branch ‘Church Age Menorah’. Thus, the typology and symbolism fuses with Israel and the Church, but in different Dispensations of time.

As it was up until 70 AD, and presently since 1948 there has been an overlap of ‘Bodies’, both of Israel and the Church on Earth as it was at the very beginning when the Church started on the New Wine Pentecost in 32 AD. Once the Church Age is consummated, perhaps at a corresponding New Wine Pentecost, in one's estimation thereafter is when Israel will return to the ‘Law’, Signs and Wonders to fulfill Daniel’s 70 Week of Years. This is known as the Tribulation Period. This must occur, per the calculations given to Daniel, and due to the dire spiritual condition Israel finds itself in.

As the Body of Christ leaves Earth, Israel will only have the AntiChrist to rely on thereafter. Israel as a ‘Body’, nationally has not realized just how fortunate Israel has been to have the true Body of Christ present and overlapping for this short amount of time since 1948. Israel does not realize what they have that will be taken soon and how they could have come to the true Messiah because of the witness of the Body of Christ, although the last rendition, that of the Laodicean is not the best, but the worst.

Thus, one believes that the Menorah typology is inferring its 4th Center Servant Stem to that of the Church Age that is being fulfilled presently. This Pentecost Season as an Intermission is still in-progress. It is about 1 Soul being saved or ‘harvested’ at a time. And that the Rapture event that is to conclude the present Church Age is to occur on a July New Wine Pentecost Feast Day, according to one’s model. The year is yet to be known. So, in this Menorah typology, one’s point is that the Spring Feasts were fulfilled in the past by Jesus.

Then the Fall Feasts are what prophetically will be fulfilled in the Future. But Christ Jesus is working in the present tense during this Pentecostal Intermission called the present Church Age. This means that when the ‘extraction’ of the Bride of Christ is to occur, it will be during the 4th Feast of Jehovah, i.e., during the corresponding New Wine Pentecost of Acts 2. This is when the ‘Open Door’ will open with a call to ‘come up’, as John heard in the Book of Revelation in chapter 4.

Thus, consider that if one ascribes an anthropomorphic facet to the Menorah, the Center Stem is where the head is. Thus, realize that no other Feast of Jehovah would or could correspond to the head or headship of Christ but during when Jesus is emphatically referred to as the ‘head’ over the Body of Christ on Earth. And that time is only during the present ‘Pentecostal Age’. It is from this Center Stem, or column that also serves as the Stabilizing Base that is also often referred to as the Servant’s Stem.

Because from that Center Stem is where the rest of the branches are fed with. This is often inferred as a corresponding picture of Jesus. The Menorah is essentially a direct prophetic inference to Jesus as fulfilling the Center Stem typology as a vine. For this study, consider how the Menorah can be attributed to the 1st 7 numbers and then with the 1st 7 letters in the Hebrew Alphabet or in this case, the Alef Bet. So, for example, by ascribing the Hebrew word meaning to the 1st 7 letters as a ‘word Menorah’, what does it say or Mean?

It reveals a hidden truth of what the Bible’s core message is all about. It renders the message that GOD in his house has uncovered or opened the door to reveal the pierced one that was nailed. Is this not what the New Testament is all about? It is about how God the Father opened Heaven and from His House he revealed the Son and how through the crucifixion, Jesus was nailed and pierced at the Cross of Calvary. Also, it is how the 1st 7 words of the Bible begin with. The Menorah is essentially a tree, and that specifically of an almond tree.

It was the almond tree that grew on Mount Sinai. It is where Jehovah came down to meet the nation of Israel after the Exodus from Egypt. The Staff of Aaron was made from this Almond Tree and subsequently how the Menorah was to be a rendition of such a tree in Heaven. Perhaps this was the other tree, the Tree of Eternal Life that was adjacent to the one chosen by Eve, the one that bestowed the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Almond in Hebrew means ‘To Watch’. The almond tree blooms in mid-winter with its petals that open-up into a 5-pointed pentagram flower. As the flowers, all white in color, adorn the almond tree, it is as though they are ‘Stars’ flickering in the tree.

What the Menorah also represents is the human form of the body. In the Bible, there are many inferences to how the human form is compared and likened to a tree. Consider how the Levitical Priesthood blessed the people of Israel at the Temple ceremonies. They would stand with feet outward, at an angle with hands extended up to configure the ‘Star Trek Vulcan Salute’ or Greetings. In this typology, the human body constitutes the 7 branches of the Menorah. How? With 1 arm, the combined fingers of 1 hand made the Hebrew letter Shin, on 1 side of the body. Then with the other arm, the same Shin sign is made with the 3 points of the combined fingers.

What was left was the ‘head’ that was like the Center Stem flanked by the 2 arms. Interestingly, the letter Shin is the 21st letter, a factor of 7-7-7 and it topographically delineates Jerusalem. This is an amazing picture of how Jesus exactly stated how He is the vine and His Followers and Disciples are His branches. Why? It is that all the nourishment comes from the Center Stem, or in this case, from Christ Jesus who is the Head of the Body, etc. This same Menorah imagery is seen in the Book of Revelation. Jesus is as the High Priest within the Holies of the Temple of Jehovah ministering to the ‘7-Stars’ that adorn the 7 Lampstands.

As the Good Physician, Jesus is evaluating and taking a diagnostic assessment of the fire’s purity of His Churches and who is ‘watching’. The 7-words and the 7-letters also correspond to the Creation Code. It has to do with the 1st 7 words of the Bible, of Creation as another Menorah pattern. And how the Alef and the Bet, the ‘First and the Last’ letters are attributed to Jesus Christ. He Himself ascribed its meaning and fulfillment in the Book of Revelation. At the Core of the Creation Code, one will also find the unmentioned and unseen one ‘hidden’ as the Aleph and the Tav.

Note what Jesus said about himself. ‘I AM – the Alef and the Tav, the Beginning and the End’. One will find that it means, ‘Adonai on the Cross’. Based on the meaning, it is an amazing revelation of Jesus’ 1st coming and 2nd coming. How so? The Tav represents how Jesus secured the ‘Eternal Covenant’. Jesus was marked by the nails on His hands. The following is the ‘Creation Code’ of the 1st 7-word sentence of Creation found in the Book of Genesis 1:1.

It is said in Hebrew: Beresit bara Elohim ‘et, which is not said, then hassamayim we’et Ha'ares. It means: In the beginning created GOD, silent Aleph-Tav, the Heavens and the Earth. Note that the Aleph-Tav is the 4th word. And the Earth is the 7th word. What if one ascribes each word for 1 day or 1000 years? This numerical value extrapolation would make the 4th Day or the 4000th year when the unread, unseen one, i.e., the Messiah of Israel would come.

Then it would be in the 7th millennia when this same beginning-end person, unseen and unheard, returned to rule the Earth. The Alef denotes how the coming King was and is a Teacher, meek as Joshua was and a leader. And who was and is this unread and unseen one? He is Jesus, the LORD that is to reign on Earth at His 2nd coming who first had to conqueror Sin, Death and Lucifer.

The 2nd Word in the ‘Creation Code’ infers a Creator, which Jesus is also according to John 1. And it is corroborated in Colossians 1:16, where it too declares that it is indeed Jesus who is the Creator. ‘For by Him (Yeshua) all things were created that are in Heaven and that are on Earth.’ Here is another veiled Menorah pattern found in Yeshua’s name in Hebrew. Hebrew is read right to left and Yeshua is comprised of only 4 letters: the Yud, Shin, Vav and Ayan.

The Yud means the ‘Hand’, the Shin for the abbreviated name of GOD, the Vav means a peg or nail and the Ayin means the Tree of Life. So, in this rendering of the name for Jesus in Hebrew, it is a depiction of how the pierced one would lead back to the Tree of Life. A further iteration of the Menorah pattern can be attributed to the days of the week and even the Solar System, in one’s interpretation.

And this is now in the same logic used of the Menorah Pattern, one can extrapolate then how Pentecost is most likely when Jesus’ High Priestly office began and will end. When? When the Body of Christ is completed and the Rapture occurs. And so, what do the numbers mean that are associated with the Menorah pattern prophetically in terms of the 7 Feasts of Jehovah? It is the Center Stem, that of Pentecost that is thus associated with the present Church Age in one’s estimation and it is ongoing. Consider that at Mount Sinai, the 10 Commandments were given at the Pentecost of the New Wine as it was in Acts 2. As noted, the number 4 position represents Jesus. It corresponds to the Dalet, the door. Did not Jesus state that He is the Door?

Lastly, the Menorah pattern is also tied astronomically to the 4 Seasons based on the Equinoxes and Solstices. If the New Year is determined by the nearest New Moon from the Spring Equinox, this would calibrate when, for example, Passover is to occur, on a Full Moon. This same pattern, for the Fall Feasts would occur after the Fall Equinox. Thus, the Feast of Trumpets would occur at the sighting of the Sliver of the New Moon. But due to the Theory of having a 49 + 50-day double count per my interpretation of Leviticus 23, the Pentecost in question would be the 2nd of the 3 Shavuot counts.

One’s point is that this 2nd 50-day count would correlate then to the minor Summer Feast of New Wine, just as it is inferred in the Book of Acts. It would place the 2nd 50-day count as the center time-frame in late July. Note that Equinox to Equinox are exactly 6-month intervals or just over 180 days apart. From the beginning of the 1st Month of the Hebrew Religious New year to the 7th Month, Tishrei, the Rabbinical New Year would be precisely 177 days. So, in terms of the Menorah pattern, the middle Servant Stem would correspond to one’s July New Wine Pentecost timing. It would place Passover at the beginning and then Tabernacles as the end.

This is to say that the 7 Feasts of Jehovah are also apparently synchronized astronomically in perfect harmony in terms of cycles of time. A further mathematical piece of evidence supporting one’s New Wine Theory and how the Rapture could correspond to this timing is how the 2nd Shavuot Pentecost in July involves the span of numbers from Nisan to Tishrei. If Nisan is day 1, then Tishrei 1 is the 180th day on a 360-day circle. And guess what number or day would be when, ‘Pentecost had Fully Come’? Day 120 or the 120th degree. This is using a 30-day month count.

And this is the numerical coefficient of how many core Disciples were at the ‘House’ as in the House of the LORD on the Temple Mount, not the Upper Room, as Tradition has taught when in Acts 2, on the Feast of the First Fruits of the New Wine, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit came down like New Wine being poured into their very being and essence. Those saved that day, 3000, cancelled the curse of the Law at Mount Sinai.

This then is how one is applying the 7-branch Menorah pattern prophetically to perhaps ascertain even when the time for the Church Age Commission is to conclude with the Rapture event. The 49-day and the 50-day Chiastic ‘Fold’ from the Center Stem or the corresponding 4th Feast of Pentecost indeed corresponds then to a Summer time-frame wheat harvest. It will remain to be proven and seen. But it is because the Feast that corresponds to the Center Stem of the Menorah pattern is the Door, the Dalet.

And it is about the ‘Head’, Jesus that soon will connect with the Body that of His Bride presently still on Earth. It will not be for long as one awaits, anticipating its reunion in the clouds. It is ultimately Jesus who is the Menorah as detailed prior. And as to the Rapture’s Timing? It is at the chapter 4-time marker in the Book of Revelation that the Apostle John is caught-up or raptured up into Heaven. He then turns around. It is insinuated that the Apostle John, being the youngest of the 12 Apostles, was likened to the Bride of Christ.

Timing of the Rapture?
So, based on what the ‘Bride’ hears and is prophetically associated with as a typology, it is indicative of the Rapture’s Timing in one’s mind. John perceives a ‘Transformation’ or Translation from Earth to Heaven. It is accompanied by all the sounds of the Silver Trumpets, the Rushing Wind, etc. It is just like it was on Mount Sinai and in the case of the Pentecost of Acts 2. This is when John turns and sees Jesus ‘In the Midst’ of the Menorah. As noted, Jesus is in the corresponding number 4 position anthropomorphically.

And this Menorah motif is fashioned after the almond tree as noted. In Hebrew, the meaning has connotations to prophecy, as the word for Almond is ‘to watch’. See what Jeremiah 1:11 says. The Word of the LORD came to me saying, ‘What do you see Jeremiah? And I said I see a rod of an almond ‘saqed.’ שָׁקֵד tree’. Then the LORD said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching ‘Soqed’ שָׁקַד, over my Word to perform it. Both the word for an almond, and the word for watching come from the same root word Soqed, which is to watch. -שׁקד.

Note that when the almond flower blossoms, it reveals a ‘Star’ design. These Stars that adorn the almond tree could have been the Tree of Life in Eden. They are as if they glisten in the wind like the Stars twinkle in the Heavenlies. The almond tree also represents the power of a resurrected life. Consider how the Staff of Aaron was from an almond branch that was ‘Dead’ but then budded. It speaks of those things in one’s life that might be dead but can be made alive in Jesus. It also speaks prophetically of the Resurrection to come. Then the Menorah signifies the 7-fold Spirit before the Throne of Jehovah in Heaven above.

And as to the 7 Churches of Asia, i.e., the Church Age on Earth below is presently alive and emitting its light, this same Menorah motif should likewise be seen and attributed anthropomorphically in one’s very life and being. Truly, the Redeemed of Jesus are Spirit-Filled Children of Jehovah. And because of Christ, such are walking and living, breathing ‘Menorahs’ or should be. And that Light of Jesus is what should be shown brightly as a Testimony to the world that is groping in darkness. One should be like an almond in its meaning. It is watching and waiting for the Church Age Commission to conclude with the Rapture Call.
