The purpose of this study is to emphasize the supposition that the Rapture event is the culmination of the completion of the Bride of Christ, in some year that is likened to the Summer wheat harvest time-frame. It is about the order of the Resurrections, which are tied to First Fruit feasts. Jesus was the 1st, as the Head of the Body that has gone before into the clouds. This was the Ascension. It took place on the Mount of Olives where the Chapel of the Ascension marks the very spot Jesus went up to Heaven. It will be the very same spot where His foot will touch when Jesus returns with His Bride.

One’s point is that as the day of the Ascension corresponded to the First Fruit of the New Wheat, in turn it commemorates the prophetic duration of the entire Church Age pattern. It is the 50-day or Pentecost Intermission between the 69th and 70th Week of Daniel. What one is asserting, is that the Head being Jesus as the First Fruit Offering of the wheat harvest in turn will unite with His Body, the Bride of Christ at the end of the wheat harvest 50-days later. And that day is on the First Fruit of the New Wine.

So, this is why one is more convinced that when the Rapture event happens, it will coincide with the end of the Summer wheat harvest and New Wine timeline in some year. It is a theory that calculates that the Crucifixion timeline is a parallel timeline of the Exodus Journey. And it is how one deduces that the New Wine day count is tied to the Pentecost of Acts 2, occurring on the 2nd Shavuot which is the New Wine. When triangulating the 2 prior Exodus and Crucifixion timelines, the New Wine First Fruits corresponds to a July 23 date. It is thus; one’s highest Rapture watch date each year.

Now, as to the Crucifixion timeline? Jesus fulfilled the typology of the Passover Lamb. As the chosen lamb, His feet were anointed 6 days prior to the Crucifixion. Then 4 days prior to the Crucifixion, like the Passover Lamb was anointed with oil in its head, Jesus’ head was anointed. Jesus, like a Moses, also had a Marriage Supper with the 12 Disciples representing Israel. Jesus like Moses initiated the New Covenant, on Mount Zion in the Upper Room.

So, it was from Nisan 15 that one starts the count to the 50th day when Jesus ascended into the clouds, as witnessed by the Disciples. That date corresponds to Sivan 5. Thus, that day was the First Fruits of the New Wheat that is celebrated by the Jews as Shavuot. But then 50 days later, on the First Fruit of the New Wine, being the 2nd Shavuot count of the 3 First Fruit Feasts, is when the Acts 2 Pentecost occurred. So, this time-span is what could then be seen as a prophetic fractal of how the 2000-year-old Church Age, from the Resurrection to the Rapture reunion is being fulfilled.

The 40-Day Count after the Resurrection
The following will be one’s rationale and interpretation of what constituted the time-span of the 40 days mentioned after the resurrection of Jesus that converged on the 50th day of His ascension. One argues that the 40-day count started after the 2nd appearance of Jesus in the Upper Room. This is where the start date begins, one believes. Then the 2nd observation presented will show why this span of 50 days from the First Fruit of the New Wheat to the First Fruit of the New Wine is indicative of how the last portion of what is yet to be glorified, the body is likened to a First Fruit itself that will be ‘harvested’ or fulfilled like at the end of the wheat harvest. This is what the Rapture will be about.

Jesus’ 1st appearance in John 20:16 was to Mary Magdalene and the other women. It occurred on Sunday morning. Based on this timeline and day count calculation, one interprets the Crucifixion occurring on Wednesday, April 14, 32 AD. That was Nisan 14. Then 3 days later or 72 hours, Jesus rose on the Sabbath at 3pm. That was the same hour Jesus had died 3 days prior that same hour. It was only on Sunday morning that the women came to the Tomb to prepare the body of Jesus for the final burial protocols, etc. As it was a Sabbath, no work was allowed. One’s point is that Jesus was already risen for 1 night. Then after the 1st appearance of Jesus was to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary’s, Jesus appeared to the Disciples on the road to Emmaus.

Then that very evening, the 1st appearance occurred with the Disciples in the Upper Room, according to John 20:19. It was the occasion where Thomas was not present. Then 8 days later as stated in John 20:26 after the weekly Sabbath, the 2nd appearance of Jesus to the Disciples occurred again in the Upper Room. This 8th Day is an echo of the Shemini Atzeret. This was the case where Thomas was present and was reprimanded by Jesus for not believing what Jesus had foretold them. If one excludes the end date, the 40-day span of time, one’s theory is what constituted the 40-day count mentioned in Acts. It commenced after the 2nd appearance of Jesus in the Upper Room.

It is when one interprets that the 40-day count commenced to coincide with the 50th Day that coincides with the First Fruit of the New Wheat. As the First Fruits of the New Wheat is when Jesus, as the Head ascended to Heaven, perhaps the end of the wheat harvest, coinciding with the New Wine is when Jesus’ Body will be raptured to conclude the Church Age. In the Book of Acts, it does mention 40 days. But like with the Exodus timeline presented, one is factoring all-inclusive day counts. Meaning that in the case of the Crucifixion timeline, the 40-day count started from when Jesus appeared to the entire Disciples for the 2nd time in the Upper Room.

My calculation is factoring-out the 3 days Jesus was in the grave and resurrected at 3pm Saturday, Nisan 17, exactly 72 hours from the Wednesday, Nisan 14 at 3pm, prior when He died, etc. It excludes the appearance of Mary Magdalene early Sunday morning, Nisan 18, on the 1st day of the week. Then it also excludes that same evening Jesus appeared to the Disciples in the Upper Room. This is where one accounts for the 10-day count in adding the 40 days to get to the 50th day. So, to reiterate, that 50th day was and is the First Fruits of the New Wheat, which is Sivan 5-6.

A Triangulation of Timelines
Sivan 6 is the 1st Shavuot or ‘Pentecost’ count of the 3 that are mentioned in the Bible to come after precisely 50 days apart where the subsequent ones will be and are the First Fruits of the New Wine and then the New Oil. And it is at the First Fruit of the New Wine when the Summer wheat harvest ends that one supposes that the Body of Jesus will unite with its Head. This assertion is based on the theory that by using the 2 prior timelines of the Exodus and the Crucifixion, that appear to match precisely, one triangulates the 3rd timeline, superimposed into modern times.

By doing so, it is to ascertain the possible time-frame of when the Rapture is to occur or could. The year is yet to be determined, but if one uses 32 AD as the Crucifixion year, and 2 days is as 2000 years, and then one factors-out the 7-year Tribulation Period, then it is that close for the Church Age ‘Pentecostal Intermission’ of the 50-day count to require the Rapture that will finally unite the Body with the Head of Christ Jesus. Here are 3 verses that infer a First Fruit connection to the Resurrection and thus in tandem with the Rapture event.

‘But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the First Fruits of those who have fallen asleep’. -1 Corinthians 15:20

‘If the part of the dough offered as First Fruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.’ -Romans 11:16

‘He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of First Fruits of all he created’. -James 1:18

So, considering the modern timeline of when the 2nd First Fruits of the New Wine is to occur, it always lands on July 23 based on this triangulation of the 2 prior timelines per one’s model. One is thus convinced that the Omer Count is correct based on this interpretation. And here is my rationale of how one interprets that the First Fruit of the New Wheat is when Jesus ascended and when the Bride of Christ is to follow at the end of this 50-day prophetic count. The following model is based on the time-span between the First Fruits of the New Wheat, celebrated by the Rabbinical Jews as Shavuot, but erroneously called Pentecost by Christendom. It is the First Fruits of the New Wine that pertains to what occurred during Acts 2, not back in Sivan 6.

THE BEGINNING = SHAVUOT
It is the ‘1st Shavuot of 3’
The First Fruits of the New Wheat is offered
This is THE HEAD: Jesus

THE END = PENTECOST of Acts 2
This is the ‘2nd Shavuot’ of the 3
It is when the Wheat Harvest is concluded
Coinciding with the First Fruits of the New Wine
This is the reunion with THE BODY: the Bride of Christ

The Trumpet Call
My New Wine interpretation and day count does go contrary to the Rabbinical Calendar as the July 23 New Wine date is based on the Spring Equinox and is fixed. Regardless of the various calendar iterations over the millennia, it is just one’s best guess one is working with. However, what one does find compelling and encouraging is that the New Wheat First Fruit, is the day that Jesus ascended on or the 50th day after the day after Passover, that being Nisan 15.

So, based on this head-to-body reunion typology, as Jesus, the Head metaphorically went into Heaven, His Body will then unite with Jesus at the end of the Summer wheat harvest. As the Disciples stayed back on Earth as the Body of Christ, they were the euphemism for the Church Age that is to exist for a duration of 2 prophetic days or 2000 years. It is the present Pentecostal Intermission between Daniel’s 69 and 70th week of 2 days or 2000 years. Note that if 32 AD was the Crucifixion year to 2033 AD will be 2000 years when one factors in the complete year or includes the entire end year count.

Thus, will 2033 mean that it is the year Jesus is to return? Thus, this 50-day span of time from the New Wheat to the New Wine is thus, from the Head to the Body, emblematic of the Age of Pentecost or the Church Age. It can further be seen as the ‘gestation’ period of how Jesus Christ is being formed, individually and how it has been the 7 iterations of the Churches of Asia, for example. Thus, one’s point is that this Head-to-Body reunion model appears to corroborate with one’s theory that the Rapture’s timing is tied to the end of the Summer wheat harvest.

And that convergence is when the New Wine occurs. Now as to the specific day of when the New Wine is? One proposes July 23. But one does realize that due to the many competing calendars that are in play, it is arbitrary. Nonetheless, one does firmly believe that the Rapture of the Bride of Christ occurs prior to the 7-Year Tribulation Period, whenever that begins. It is all-inclusive of Daniel’s 3.5 or 7-year prophetic week. Regardless, it is all ‘Wrath’ that starts with the 1st Seal that is broken in Heaven by Jesus.

One is convinced that the typology of John being called-up by the Trumpet Call in chapter 4 of the Book of Revelation is indicative of the Rapture’s sequence in one’s mind. It is because the Bride must be present at the reading of the Will and Testament. Why? She is the prime Witness as Jesus then will execute the Seal Judgments, starting with Seal 1, which is the revealing of the AntiChrist. He cannot be revealed until the Rapture occurs. Regardless of when that occurs, those truly in Christ Jesus will not miss the Rapture. One will arrive there, dead or alive.

And we can have peace that no matter what happens or how bad things get in our lives or in the world on this side of the Rapture, we need to face it head on. It is because the Body of Christ is equipped with the Full Armor of Christ. And the Holy Spirit gives the Grace in proportion to complete the Commission we have been entrusted to accomplish until that Trumpet Call, perhaps at the end of a Summer wheat harvest and at the beginning of the First Fruits of the New Wine.

Summary
This study proposes a theological theory linking the Rapture to the conclusion of the Summer wheat harvest and the First Fruits of the New Wine. The study argues that just as Jesus ascended as the ‘Head’ of the church during the Frist Fruits of the New Wheat, the ‘Body’ of Believers will be reunited with him during the subsequent First Fruit of the New Wine festival. By triangulating Biblical timelines from the Exodus and the Crucifixion, the study identifies July 23 as a significant annual Rapture watch date for this event. This perspective views the entire Church Age as a prophetic intermission that mirrors the 50-day gap between these 2 harvest First Fruit feasts. Ultimately, the study asserts that the Bride of Christ must be removed before the Tribulation begins. She is to witness the opening of the divine Seals of Judgment by Jesus.
