Ancient Israel, according to the Scriptures, had 7 crops/species: barley, wheat, dates, figs, pomegranates, and olives. Their Summer Grape Season for earliest grapes, earliest grape juice and wine (new wine) was Month 4 Tammuz. That would be about 40 days after Shavuot. In 2026, according to the Torah Calendar, we have a 3-week time frame, like from Tammuz 8 to 29. This is 6-24 to 7-14. The midpoint is Tammuz 17. This is one of the 4 major fast days, listed in Zechariah Chapter 8. It is the first of the 4, then Av 9, Yom Kippur, then Tevet 10. On that day of solemn reflection is remembered the hideous Debacle of the Golden Calf Incident. The Exodus people were sinning horribly. Drunkenness? Season of new wine, earliest grapes and wine? On that day of massive spiritual degradations, Moses was descending Mt. Sinai with 2 precious things: the 2 stone tablets. In rage, he smashed them. On them was divine writing onto stone. THE BRIDE'S COPY OF HER WEDDING VOWS EARLIER VERBALLY PROMISED TO YAHUAH ON SHAVUOT. Broken promises, broken wedding vows, idolatry, blasphemy, betrayal, adultery, shame, and broken ketubah. Premiere Scriptural horror story. Tammuz 17 is important! DO NOT IGNORE THE LESSONS OF THIS DAY! Remember that the Messiah is Groom!

This year Tammuz 17 will be on Torah Calendar on 7-2 to 3. One day earlier on the Chabad/Hillel Calendar. Technically, 7-4 will begin at sunsets going into Day 7 Shabbat. In essence, the same day. There will be many parties, many celebrations to rejoice in the USA 250 Anniversary. Dangers in "the cares of life." Eating and drinking carelessly like in the Days of Noah and of Lot? Gluttony? Drunkenness? Sexual sins? Idolatry? The Messiah spoke of fasting in 3 of the 4 Gospels. Who will FAST, REFLECT, and EAGERLY WATCH for "The Joy of His Appearing" on 7-3? Will the Messiah, the Groom of grooms, return for His Bride, Body, Family "At A Time You Think Not" as Israel goes to her Midnight Hour, 7-3 to 4? We shall see...
