All the AI stuff is over-hyped and far too expensive to develop to the max. Major investors have dropped out. All this while ordinary people are now taxed to the hilt. Money is much tighter. Ordinary people focus more on essentials rather than luxuries. The giant lurch for max consumerism that only benefits mega corporations, has shot itself in the foot. People simply cannot afford loads of 'extras' on top of what their budgets allow. Unemployment is high etc.
A bunch of thick as planks, mafia style buffoons are running the world ......into the ground.
