I am watching for something to (maybe) occur on Tu B'Av on July 29th, 2026. Tu B'Av is known as the Jewish Valentine's Day. Considered an auspicious day for weddings and joy. The day before Tu B'Av in 2020, Beirut in Lebanon was hit with a massive explosion. Various reasons were given for this huge explosion - the main one being the large amount of Ammonium Nitrate stored at the port. This blast happened on August 3rd - the day before the feast of Tu B'Av.
The photos and stories of beautiful brides fleeing when this blast happened are hard to dismiss. Plus the fact that Tu B'Av itself, is all about weddings and choosing wives. Please see the 2nd link below for fascinating details about this minor feast.
