Amalekites, Amalek, The Spirit of Amalek - What We See Today

 

The ancient power of Amalek will not let up until the Jewish people repent and keep the Sabbath Holy to God.  We simply have to read the story of the Exodus to recognise this pure truth.  The Jewish people, who have not accepted the power of grace through belief in Jesus Christ (there are many that have) are still under the laws of the Covenant.  Unbeknownst to them, they have chosen the difficult way. LORD Jesus asked them to take on his truth as it would unburden them from the Law. Jesus compared the Law to a heavy yolk.  Jesus came to fulfil the Covenant - to strengthen it and reaffirm it (Daniel 9:27). He didn't come to abolish it. Rabbi Glazerson continues to point out the vital importance of repentance. Returning to God. The importance of keeping the Sabbath Holy to God. As Almighty God has decreed that His people are blinded in part, for the sake of the gentiles, the Jewish people continue to suffer.  Which is why they will be greatly honoured and revered in the aftermath of the end of days.  Their suffering is for our sake.  To provide an example of what life is like without the Holy Spirit. Without the redeeming blood of The Lamb. This truth could not be more apparent as it is today.
