In wresting with the two possible Pentecost dates, I came to see that July 19 is likely the correct timing for this reason:

The count of 7 Sabbath weeks is to be done with "complete" weeks.

When the High Priest presented the barley wave sheaf offering after the regular Sabbath day (matching the timing of when Jesus resurrected), even though that is indeed the first day of a Sabbath week, it is actually 1/2 day-plus into that Sabbath week, which would have started at sunset the prior day, when the regular Sabbath of the prior Sabbath week formally ended.

So, that first Sabbath week, "starting" from the wave sheaf offering, would NOT be a complete week.

The first complete Sabbath week would then start following the Sabbath week during which the Feast of Unleavened Bread ended.

So, with respect to an April 5, 2026 "barley wave sheaf offering day" this year, my count for the 7 complete Sabbath weeks would then begin April 12th.

The end result of the 7 complete Sabbath weeks, with the 50 days added after, would mean that true Pentecost this year is July 19th.

It is my understanding that the above is similar to how the essenes handled the count  of 7 weeks plus 50 days (in addition to folks like Petra here at Five Doves).  I feel that now I can accept "that method/understanding" with integrity.

Will we be taken July 19?  Maybe.

If God indeed comes down that day, He might cloak Himself with a darkness as the account in Psalm 18 seems to indicate.  How long might we experience such if it indeed were to happen?  The patterns in scripture point to three days: the 9th plague, Jonah in the large fish, the disciples following Jesus' death, Paul prior to having his eyes opened.  We'll see.

Tish B Av starts at sunset on that Wednesday.  The 9/10 of Av was when God originally intended Israel to enter the Promised Land.  Might that be when we go?  because the entire Body of Christ has accepted the testimony of our Joshua and Caleb (Jesus and the Holy Spirit)?

Tisha B Av marks when the 80 days are fully completed, the 80 days that a first born female child had to wait until being brought into the presence of God.  This template sees Mary as being the embodiment of the bride, with her 80 days starting at Jesus' resurrection, and using the resurrection day as being on May 3rd (relative to the sun being in Aries).

Tisha B Av also brings a count of 10 months to completion from the blowing of the shofars by 100 kohanim in Israel Sept 23/24.  During Enoch's time, his 300 days was also 10 months.

Tisha B Av also marks the timing of when Moses' first set of 40 days would have started on Mt Sinai, when I use the full moon on June 30 as starting the 3rd month.

Tisha B Av would also be the timing of when God could possibly remove yet a third temple from Israel.  Such an event would be "a provoking to jealousy" moment, with a people who are not Israel proper.

In all of the above, I am trying to see how numerous calendars, and also assorted types/shadows and counts from the scriptures, might all dovetail together to point to the same timing as to when we might go home.  It just seems to me that it would be like God to do such, using multiple witnesses to convey what He is doing in a given moment.

I believe the 50 day count leading to Pentecost truly allows us to see and experience "the day approaching".  The 120 followers of Jesus, after His ascension, made a point of being gathered together at that very time. They weren't totally clueless.
