Tisha B Av, or about the 9th and 10th days of the Jewish 5th month, was originally when God intended for the children of Israel to begin entering the Promised Land if it had not been for the folks embracing the unbelief of the 10 spies.

Now, later on, the children of Israel did enter the Promised Land on the 10th of the 1st under the leadership of Joshua.

I find it interesting/insightful that it was on that very same day that Jesus would formally reveal Himself to Israel, riding on a donkey per the prophecies.

I wonder if we might end up going into our Promised Land on the original date of the 9/10 of Av.  All of the Body of Christ have believed the report of our Joshua and Caleb (Jesus and the Holy Spirit).

If valid, then the 9/10 of Av might also be the timing of when Jesus would reveal Himself formally to the Body of Christ, yet perhaps this time He will be riding on a white horse.  In the gospels, Jesus' revealing was tied to the timing of a Promised Land entry.

We'll see.  

Us going on Tisha B Av would definitely be a date that would provoke some Jews to jealousy.  That original date of their entry into the Promised Land was meant for them, but it was not to be so because of their unbelief.  Over and over again, during the centuries, God has reminded Israel of this major event, and their unbelief, in their past.  According to the ways of God, and His patterns, might He also do so yet again by timing our being taken by the Messiah, while the Chosen People of God were left behind.  I wonder how many Jews, in realizing what happened, will finally turn from all of the misleading teachings of their rabbis over the centuries, and in repentance, turn to God alone.

The timing of Tisha B Av this year has another detail that I am thinking may be significant.  It is 50 days before Rosh Hashanah.  I am thinking in terms of there needing to be a window of time for Jesus to fulfill the 40 day warning sign of judgement by Jonah to Ninevah, the wicked and adulterous generation, before the judgement years formally begin.

It makes sense to me that the 40 days would end right when the Feast of Trumpets happens.  It was last year, on Sept 24th, that 100 priests blew shofars in unison at a televised outdoor event on the true date of Rosh Hashanah per the sighted new moon (Sept 23/24).  I wonder if that was a one year heads-up for the start of the judgement years.

If this 40 day window is valid, then there would be a 10 day window before it, starting between when we go and Jesus (with some of us?) shows back up.  I am thinking here of the 10 days that Daniel asked the king's servant for he and his friends to be evaluated.  What if the first ten days after we go (on the 9/10 of Av?) will be a time when the Father will be watching the heart level responses of people to what just took place, evaluating people according to the choices, and it will be these choices that serve as a basis for the Holy Spirit to then direct some of us to then teach and minister to specific individuals during the 40 days.

The 10 day window, before some of us come back with Jesus for the 40 days, would allow a seven full day preparation time for some of us to be trained and set apart in heavenly places for the priest-like role, like what Aaron and his sons had to go through before Aaron started his high priest ministry on the 8th day.

Again, we'll see.
