of the New Jerusalem?
The actual Temple is
huge but the New Jerusalem
encompasses the Temple?

regarding our LORD Jesus
finishing off the building of
the Temple with the help of
earthly people. After
all, the new Temple will be
here - on earth. As will
be the New Jerusalem.
The mind boggles in
trying to understand and
picture it all."
In my opinion, I don't
think that Ezekiel's millennium 8.3
mile square temple complex in
Jerusalem is going to be a part of
the city of New Jerusalem that comes
down from heaven which is a 1500
mile square complex because Ezekiel
47 discusses the river that flows
from the millennial temple eastward
down to the Engedi desert which is
on the west bank of the Dead Sea and
how there will be fishes in it to be
caught in nets. Then beginning in
Ez. 47:13 through 48:35, it
discusses the borders of the land in
Israel for each of the 12 tribes of
Israel so I can't see how the city
of New Jerusalem paved with streets
of gold is going to encompass the
smaller city of Jerusalem. Isaiah
65:21 also says, "And
they shall build houses, and
inhabit them; and
they shall plant vineyards, and
eat the
fruit of them."
Then
you have the fact that that there
will be sacrifices of animals
inside Ezekiel's millennial temple
in the city of Jerusalem as
discussed in Ez.45:15 -46:24 with
the Feast of Unleavened Bread
& Passover being celebrated,
the Feast of Tabernacles and on
the new moons. However, in
the city of New Jerusalem, there
is no temple therein for the Lord
God Almighty and the Lamb, Jesus
Christ are the temple of it (Rev.
21:22).
Also
if you read Rev. 21:1-2, you don't
see the city of New Jerusalem
coming down from heaven until
there is a new heaven and a new
earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth are passed away
and there is no more sea.
