I agree with Michael Snyder's analysis of the Iran situation.

 

This is his June 28, 2026 article:

So much for that "Memorandum of Understanding".  

 

Iran followed MoU with attacking a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.  Then the U.S. bombed several Iranian military targets in response.  Then Iran hit another commercial vessel in the Strait.  And the U.S. responded with a bigger wave of strikes....And Iran hit Kuwait and Bahrain with missiles and drones.

 

"Sadly, the reality of the matter is that these negotiations were doomed anyway.  Iran is never going to make the nuclear concessions that the Trump administration is seeking.  And Iran is never going to agree to allow commercial traffic to flow freely through the Strait of Hormuz the way that it did before the war...The crisis in the Middle East is not going to have a happy ending."

As for Ukraine vs Russia "Russian leaders are running out of patience, and it would not surprise me at all if they decide to use tactical nukes at some point."

 

Nothing is stopping the war in Ukraine.  Nothing is stopping the war in the Middle East.
