After his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus appears to two of his followers on the road to Emmaus:

Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! 

You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. 

Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” 

Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

In the same chapter, Jesus appears to the disciples in the upper room and shows them his wounds, and then he says to them:

Then he said, “When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.

Jesus says it was “clearly predicted” that’s a tough one, but it was expected of them to know these things. 

We have God‘s written Word and the Holy Spirit living in us, it’s pretty clear that on judgment day we believers are going to be held accountable to knowing what the Bible says about the end of things and Jesus’ second coming. 

Like Jesus said, we can know for a fact that all of predictions of his first coming came true. With the words of the risen Jesus we are assured that the ones for him coming to rescue his bride, the Church, and also  those for the judgment of the world at his second coming, will also be fulfilled.

Someone said that in the New Testament we are told to watch and be ready 50 times. This is a command in the book of Mark:

I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!
