Yes, even the Hebrew Encyclopedia admits this. The prophet  Daniel
proves it as well.
   During the second revolt from Rome, the Hebrew leaders were
desperate to get all Jews to join the Bar Kokhba rebellion against
Rome. So, they did what comes natural and brought out a revised,
updated & helpful calendar which identified Bar Kokhba as the long
awaited Messiah. This of course badly backfired as many if not most
Jews refused to go along with it. The Hebrew Christians loudly
renounced it as a forgery, which led to the final split between
classic Judaism and Jews for Jesus. From then on, The Rabbis insisted
A Jew could not also be a Christian.
  Remember I said that Daniel ch9 proves the new Calendar changed in
the 2nd century and still used today is a fake?
  Daniel said Herod's temple would by destroyed by Rome AFTER messiah
was cut off, killed,  and have nothing due him!  And yes, The original
calendar has Daniel's 69 weeks of years (483 years) from Nehemiah
being sent to rebuild Jerusalem's walls until messiah ending in 30AD.
Something no Rabbi wants to talk about.
   Today Jews are looking for a rabbi from among them to be the
Messiah. They should read Zechariah ch 14 which says Messiah will
come, and His foot will touch the Mount of Olives which will cleave
into a large valley. The prophet then states that his God has come. A
few verses later says "He Is ONE and His Name is ONE" echoing
Deuteronomy 6:4 The Shema.
