Your post * of 6-22-25 points to a final generational count beginning in 1967 rather than 1948. That must be correct. Luke 21:24 says "and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled. " So there is a definite measuring point placed upon the June 1967 recapture of Jerusalem. It was finally under Jewish control.
I think there are other timelines in play. Two thousand being a time (by type) as measured from the ascension ? Or maybe the Feast of New Wine / Pentecost as brother Vega has suggested. The Lord spent two days in Samaria with the gentiles.
