But, in history, Strom Thurmond spoke for over 24 hours to oppose the Civil Rights Act.

Yet, Mr Jeffries broke the record for a House speech.

However, wasn't he desperately trying to save democracy?

Apparently he wasn't able to save it.

So, is that it? Is it all over, now?

Will the word, "democracy", be pulled from lexicons, dictionaries, historical books & websites, and even from the Google search engine?

Or maybe there can be another movie made: "28,800 Seconds That Almost Saved Democracy"?
