This Youtube channel is "Last Days Awakening" with Pastor Jimmy Root, Pastor of Freedom Church, St. Joseph, Missouri.

 

It was inspiring to hear a pastor talk about a New Wine Rapture.

 

This video is over an hour long - Pastor Root is quite entertaining and very easy to understand and follow.  I took some notes if you don't have time to listen to this long video.

Pastor Root opened with a reference to a 'wonderful teaching' by Brother Tyler and Dr. Barry Awe on the New Wine Rapture (see Part 1 New Wine Rapture).

 

He is calling this a 'massively high watch importance' of this 'hidden feast' that's really not hidden - it's in the scripture.  The Feast of New Wine or Season of New Wine came about with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Temple Scroll.  These were preserved by the Essenes.

 

This day of Feast of New Wine matches up with the day the disciples were together when the Spirit was poured out.  And they were accused of being drunk on 'new' wine - this only happens in the Season of New Wine.  It doesn't say they were drunk on wine - it says 'new' wine.  Peter refuted this.  And said it was but 9AM.  According to the scrolls, this is the time when the priests were pouring out the drink offering of new wine on the altar -  to dedicate and prepare for the harvest of wine.  So people could not drink the new wine until the dedication of the firstfruits.

 

Pastor Root talked about all the offerings that were accompanied by new wine or wine.

 

He made a nice clear chart of the firstfruits:

 

 The Firstruits of the Barley harvest was dedicated by the Lord on Nisan 17 (Resurrection).  Jesus's blood was sprinkled on the Mercy Seat.  He is the firstfruits of the barley harvest.  He is the wave offering.

 

Then there is a 50 day count to Shavuot - the Firstfruits of Wheat; also the day of the Lord's Ascension on Sivan 15. Moses was called up to the mountain and received 'the marriage proposal'.  He said this "should be clear to everyone that this is the same day that Jesus ascended into Heaven."  We've been celebrating Jesus' Ascension on the wrong day.

 

The barley and the wheat are the 'grain harvest' per the Scriptures.

 

There is another 50 day count - the Firstfruits of Wine on Av 8.  This is when Moses came down from the mountain and heard the feasting.  The people had their golden calf and were feasting on the 'feast of the Lord' The next day on Av 9, 3,000 people were 'judged'.

 

There are seven Moedem/Feasts of the Lord.  But there were also special feasts; and Jesus celebrated one of these that is Hanukkah.  So He celebrated other feasts besides the seven Feasts of the Lord.

 

He said the 'exact' days depend on how you count.

 

The same day that the disciples were gathered together and were anointed with the Holy Spirit, this 'hidden feast' had a priest come with the firstfruits of new wine and pour it on the altar.  They were filled with 'new wine' - this is firstfruits - so a harvest is yet to come. 

 

The mystery of the Church that was hidden in the Old Testament fits with this hidden feast - how appropriate that they are are both revealed in these Last Days.  They are tied together with the pouring out of the wine and the harvest of the grapes for this wine.  This is amazing.

 

The new wine is in the new body - the new wineskin is to hold the new wine - this is what happens at the Rapture when we are changed.

 

When Moses came down from the mountain the first time - he brought 'the marriage proposal'.  When he came down the second time, he brought the Ten Commandments - the rules.  

 

The grain harvest is completed by the Season of New Wine.

 

We don't know exactly when the Rapture is going to happen, but we are watching and looking.  He is coming to reward those who are loving and longing for His appearing.

Lisa Taylor wrote about Numbers 13:20 (New Wine Rapture Part 2):  "And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not.  And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land.  Now the time was the 'time of the firstripe grapes'/'season of the first ripe grapes'."

 

I looked at the dates for 2025 on the chabad calendar, 17th of Nisan is April 15.  The 15th  Sivan is June 11.  The 8th of Av is August 2.  He noted the dates will change depending on how you do the counts (how you count the 50 days and where you start the 50 day counts).  Many have their explanations for how they do their counts - I don't know which is correct.  So I'm staying with the range I've written about earlier:  July 20 - August 3 for Pastor Root's "massively high watch" time/season.

 

On a side note, John 2 is about the wedding in Cana and Jesus' miracle of changing the water into wine - "And on the third day".  John 2:1 "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee..."  The Jews must have known what this meant.  On the third day of what?  And Jesus said He would raise us up on the third day.  Hosea 6:2:  "After two days will He revive us:  in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight."

In the third day of what?  The Jews must have understood what this meant.  It's interesting that the Temple Scroll notes that the Wine Festival was on the 3rd of Av...the third day of Av.  On the chabad calendar 3rd of Av is on July 28.  Could this be what 'the third day' is referring to?

 

Keep looking up!  Don't loose hope.  Hang on!
