Hello John and Doves,
In this letter I wrote about God's
Judgment given to Isaiah in relation to the new wine and the
grape harvest.
And I added Micah's prophecy about
the grape harvest also - the faithful men of the Earth have
vanished/been snatched away and chaos and violence is all
around.
I also included Lisa Taylor's
letter on Tu B'Av from 2024 (the 15th of Av) - it's a gem of
a letter for this time.
And then I wrote about 'what is
"new wine"?'
Also, I wrote about recordings in
the Gospels of Jesus observing the Feasts of the Lord - and
how we have no record of Him celebrating certain ones like
Yom Teruah or Yom Kippur - yet, as a Jew, we know He
did. And there is no record of Him celebrating Feast
of New Wine either. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I also wrote about wine,
vineyards, the grape harvest and the major role these have
always played in the lives of the Jewish people - these
topics constantly come up in Bible stories. Even in
Heaven they will be important to us.
What is the next feast to be
fulfilled? Feast of New Wine. What's the next
thing to be fulfilled in the story of redemption? The
Rapture.
"Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when He cometh
shall find watching"....
God's Judgment of the Earth:
The prophet Isaiah told us in
Isaiah 24: 6 - 13:
"The earth also is defiled under
the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the
laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting
covenant."
"Therefore a curse devoured the
earth, and those that dwell therein are desolate:
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few
men left." (We know in the Revelation the Sun is given
power to scorch men.)
"The new wine mourns, the vine
decays. All the joyful-hearted sigh."
"The mirth of tabrets (tamborines)
ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of
the harp ceaseth."
"They shall not drink wine with
song: strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink
it."
"The city of confusion is broken
down: every house is shut up, that no man may come
in."
"There is crying for wine in the
streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is
gone."
"In the city desolation is
left. And the gate is stricken with destruction."
"When thus it shall be in the
midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the
shaking of an olive tree and as the gleaning grapes when the
vintage is done."
And then the prophet Micah told us
what it would be like after the Rapture; we find his
description in Micah 7:
"Woe is me! For I am as when
they gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of
the vintage: there is no cluster to eat; my soul
desired the firstripe fruit."
"The good man is perished
(vanished/Raptured?) out of the earth, and there is none
upright among men..."
"The day of your watchman has
come, the day of your visitation. Now is the time of
confusion."
The Watchmen are watching for the
return of Jesus. The day of their visitation is the
Rapture. People don't know what happened to the
'missing' in a sudden disappearance - they are
confused/perplexed.
Lisa Taylor "Tu B'Av"
Letter, 2024:
Lisa Taylor sent in a very good
letter last year - 28 Jul 2024. She presents many
interesting points and ties a lot of information together
concerning Tu B'Av - the 15th of Av.
Is
there a Tu B’Av Harpazo Pattern?
Ascension Day Is A Feast of
the Lord:
I had written before about
Ascension Day being on a Sabbath or a High Holy Day -
because of Luke's comment about the people being a
"Sabbath's day journey from Jerusalem." This tells us
Ascension was on a Sabbath or on a Feast of the Lord (or
maybe? both depending on where you start the count of
weeks.). I believe Ascension Day occurred on the Feast
of Weeks/Shavuot. So counting from that day 50 days,
takes us to Feast of New Wine. Depending on where you
start the count to get to Feast of Weeks and how you count
new moon days, and other variables, varies the day.
Counts to New Wine:
There are differing ways to count
to New Wine.
On Five Doves, we have July
23, Luis Vega and then August 2/3,
Dr. Awe.
This site has July 20 -
22, 'based on the Hebrew calendar'. "This
is the second Pentecost." And July 30-31
as Festival of New Wine based on the Essenes calendar. (This
is Petr's date, but he doesn't call it New Wine.)
August 2 - 3 is 9th of Av. (Dr. Awe's date of New Wine.)
High
Watch Days for Rapture in the Coming Months - HubPages
The Temple Scroll has Feast of New
Wine on 3 Av. July 20, 2025.
(Different from the above Essenes calendar.)
Essene
Calendar
I'm sure there are other dates for
New Wine. But these give us a range of
possibilities. From about July 20 to August 3.
After that we're moving into the Fall Feasts of the Lord.
The New Wine:
"Notice that "new wine" does not
refer to unfermented grape juice as is often taught.
The new wine is fermented, as seen in this description of
pouring out the drink offering. It is called "new
wine" simple because it comes from a new harvest of
grapes. Wine from the new harvest was not to be
consumed before the first fruits offering was made.
Until that time, the people drank from the older wine.
After the Feast of New Wine and the offering, they were
permitted to drink from the new batch."
After
Shavuot: Wine and Oil - The Messianic Light
In Acts 2, Peter notes this fact
when he tells the crowd that the people are not drunk on new
wine - it's but the third hour of the day. Or
9AM. As Dr. Awe explains it, the priests have yet to
present the 'new wine' to the Lord - so 9AM is too early for
the people to start drinking the new wine. The priests have
to give them the OK, basically.
Jesus and the Feasts of the
Lord:
"There is no evidence that Yeshua
observed the Feast of New Wine...There is also no evidence
anywhere in the Gospels that he observed the wave sheaf of
the barley harvest or Shavuot or Yom Teruah or Yom
Kippur. But does anyone truly doubt that he kept those
feasts? Silence does not indicate that it did not
happen."
After
Shavuot: Wine and Oil - The Messianic Light
The Gentiles and
the Grape Harvest:
In Part 1 I wrote
about the Lord making His new marriage covenant with
another people -
In a parable Jesus
tells us about a vineyard - the "Parable of the Vineyard
and the Tenants". Jesus said, "Therefore say I unto
you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given
to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof." That
'nation' is the Gentiles. That fruit is the grapes
of the vineyard. That harvest is the Rapture. (As
Dr. Awe said, we are associated with the firstfruit of the
new wine.)
Drinking Wine in Heaven:
Wine, the grape harvest, the vineyards are major
topics in the Bible. And it looks like this will
continue in Heaven.
In Isaiah 23:6: "On this
mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food
for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine - the best of meats
and the finest of wines."
In Luke 12:37:
"Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when He cometh
shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that
he shall gird Himself, and make them to sit down to meat,
and will come forth and serve them." He will serve
meats and wine at this feast.
In Conclusion:
We have come a long way in our
understanding of many, many topics in the Bible. And
we know that the Feasts of the Lord are prophetic days that
tell the story of Jesus and redemption.
Jesus fulfilled Passover as the
Passover Lamb. He fulfilled Feast of Unleavened Bread
as the sinless broken body in the tomb. He fulfilled
the Feast of Firstfruits as the firstfruits to rise from the
dead. He fulfilled the Feast of Weeks/Shavuot with His
Ascension - ending His ministry on Earth and ascending to
the right hand of God.
Feast of New Wine is next on the
list of Feasts of the Lord. And what's next in the
story of redemption? The Rapture. This certainly
looks very promising! And 2025 looks like THE
year. Add all of this to what is going on with Israel
and Iran and the Middle East and the whole world.
We are certainly on the verge of
something biblical!
Keep looking up!!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
