I read about Russia's Poseidon
'torpedo' back in 2022 when Russians threatened to bury the
UK under a tsunami. Such a weapon could generate a
radioactive tsunami with waves up to 500 meters (1500 feet)
high.
And in this new article Rajan
linked, the use of those nuclear armed drones has come up
again following President Trump's announcement to send more
weapons to Ukraine. And then he gave Russia a 50 day
deadline to get a peace treaty with Ukraine or he'll slap on
more sanctions.
President Putin announced this
weapon back in March of 2018 - doesn't look like he was
'bluffing' back then about pursuing such a weapon. The
Russian military had projected deployment in 2027.
It can carry a nuclear or conventional warhead.
There are news articles back in 2023 that said Russia has
manufactured these drones and will deliver them to their
Belgorod submarine soon. So they may already have
these.
It's probably just a matter of
time before Russia, China, or Iran move against the
U.S. They are probably tired of the U.S.
sanctions popping up here and there when they do something
President Trump doesn't like.
I wonder how much the radiation
would affect the oceans, the fish, etc. Does anyone
even know the environmental impact of such a weapon?
This could leave coastlines beyond the U.S. uninhabitable
for decades. And kill off ocean life. And how
about spread of the radiation through the water to Canada,
Cuba, Mexico? Could it reach Greenland and
Europe? Would such a weapon end up back-firing?

Fukushima is a good example of the
environmental impact - even though that was a nuclear power
plant melt down plus tsunami.
A 1000 plus foot wave on our East
coast would certainly take out ports, cities, military
bases, our financial hub, a large percentage of our
population, etc. And the radiation would leave it
uninhabitable for decades or longer. No
agriculture. No rebuilding. That would probably
end the country as we know it.
Someday, 'someone' will probably do
something. And we can't stop a Poseidon drone.
We know the U.S. doesn't help
Israel in the Gog and Magog war..something keeps us out of
that war...and at some point, the U.S. stops being the
'center of the world' and Jerusalem takes over. All
eyes will be on Jerusalem. All news will be about
Jerusalem.
