The verse below sounds to me like it’s talking about the majority of the church today. They say that they have replaced and are the “true Israel,” but are not. 

Revelation 3:9 Jesus says, “Look, I will force those who belong to Satan’s synagogue--those liars who say they are Jews but are not--to come and bow down at your feet. They will acknowledge that you are the ones I love.”

Romans 11:1 I ask, then, has God rejected his own people, the nation of Israel? Of course not! 
2 No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning.

28 Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. 
Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 
29 For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.
