Back around circa 1970 I found out about the Rapture through reading Hal Lindsey's "Late Great Planet Earth". Readers of this post may or may not agree with all that Hal espouses but that is not the point. The point is that after years of hearing about all the Fatima secrets jazz, masses & rosary beads, etc. I found spiritual guidance that was not present in any of the circles I was traveling in.
Here's a blurb about church music that I agree with: "Songs have the ability to implant doctrine to the hearer because music reaches past the mind and anchors to the heart.
