"In response to Chance's post "Michelle W-Thank You For Your Most Kind and Comforting Letter!""

First of all Jesus is so wonderful! And thank you Chance so much for your prayers and post. I hope this encourages you and everyone who reads it.

I really need to share this with you. God is so good! The Holy Spirit has been very patient with me. He has helped me to take it a little bit at a time. First by making a stop light out of construction paper and writing the verse Psalm 27:14 on the back. The stop light was a way He helped me to know “Wait (stop, red light), slow down and go.

He helped me to remember something I had read before in a book called “Faith That Endures” by Ronald Boyd-Macmillan. Persecuted Christians put a verse on a rock and cling to that verse for a whole week. Than they switch to another verse. Well, He did that for me except it was on a stop light made out of construction paper. It helped so much. Praise Jesus’ most precious Name!

He had me not give up on a diet of food that helps with brain issues. He first had me attempt to see if I could make oatmeal (which is good for brain health) again. Than He progressed me for something else to overcome (He helped me to remember the book of Revelation says “To him that overcometh…”) and than something else, etc…

Well, for days I tried to read a couple full verses on overcoming and Henry Drummond’s “The Greatest Thing in The World” (A Gardener Looks At The Fruits of The Spirit” page 159 by W. Phillip Keller). Then He had me do it again. Praise His Name I was actually able to read it today. Than the Lord had me to try my Bible today. As long as I read outloud and slowly I can understand what I’m reading. I still get confused if I try to read silently. But praise God that I can actually read again and my focus is getting better! The Holy Spirit was so patient with me. When I had a bad day He waited until the next and than the next, etc… until I started to gain progress.

And God can be glorified through anything! He’s helping me to remember the sound of rain (it was raining outside a little bit ago) is calming and helps the focus part of your brain to focus. Well, Jesus is the Living Water. His voice is calming, just as rain is. And when He speaks the focus goes completely on Him.

This is my testimonial for the Lord. May it encourage whoever reads it. Don't give up no matter what happens. The Lord hasn't given up on you just like He didn't with me.

Thank you so much for your prayers, especially for my parents. It means more to me than you’ll know this side of eternity.
