If those days (the end times) were not shortened - for the sake of the elect (the Chosen People) no flesh would be left. Matthew 24:22. See link below. Which makes me even more sure that the gentile believers are raptured before 'those days'.

The pale green horse, in Revelation 6:8 is given power over a fourth of the earth. I am making an informed guess that this "Fourth of the earth" contains the nation of Israel. Therefore, 'a fourth of the earth' will be in the Middle to near East. Only Almighty God knows what has happened to the rest of earth during this time!
