In a nutshell I agree with your thinking.
I am also, like you, watching the 17/18th of July
believing this marks the accurate timing of Pentecost, or on
about the first day of the fifth month, or the 1st of Av.
I have watched those videos as well, that tie Pentecost
in with the 9th of Av. I have benefited from their
hearts as "watchers for Jesus" and have learned from them,
but I am thinking they are off to think that the feast of
first-fruits of the grape/wine would fall on the 9th of Av.
They reference folks during Jesus day honoring a
first-fruits offering of the four main items, barley, wheat,
grapes and oil, at four differing times of year. God
required first-fruits offerings. I believe this did
take place and was acceptable to God.
However, I believe that actually instructions from God
that the first-fruits of the wheat (in the form of wheat
loaves) was to be offered also at the time of the
first-fruits of the grapes on about the first day of the
fifth month. The direction from God concerning the
first-fruits of the wheat were to be an offering of wheat
from "their labors". In otherwords, when Joshua and
the Children of Israel went into the promised land, the very
upcoming wheat offering would have been presented from wheat
they planted, or summer wheat. When they were to wave
two loaves of wheat it had to be made with wheat flour from
what they planted right after entering the promised
land. Even though Joshua and the fighting men were
busy with war, the families on the east side of the Jordan
especially would have been in agricultural mode right away.
During Jesus day a wheat was grown that was planted in
the winter and harvested late spring. Those folks
offered that firstfruits wheat to God as required, so much
so that there indeed became four major first fruits
offerings as Barry Awe and others are presenting.
However, what these watchmen are not taking into account is
that God only required an appearance before Him three times
a year, not four. The only way this could be done is
that if God were thinking in terms of wheat planted earth
spring.
In watching these watchman videos, I am wrestling with
why would such a message grab a hold of the body of Christ
so strongly when it is 10 days later than the timing of what
I think is Biblical? I believe the Spirit revealed
something to me and is why I am replying to you. God
wants us to also watch this 9th of Av date. Perhaps
God is allowing the misunderstanding to take place but the
result is that people will be watching the accurate date of
when we go. How so?
I believe it is because of the same 10 day difference
between when the flood of Noah started and the timing of
when God told him to get off of the ark the following
year. It was a year plus 10 days later. Why?
Because of the difference between a lunar year and a
solar year = 10 days.
When the owner of the vineyard decided to give the fig
tree "one more year" perhaps that was true for now.
When might the "year begin" for us? The Feast of
Pentecost, or the feast that I believes marks the formal
beginning(s) of a new time or age. Last year in 2022,
the Feast of Pentecost was on about July 27/28. A full
solar year later would end on July 27/28.
The 10 day difference seems on the surface to be a delay
and would be a difficult thing to experience. But
perhaps like Daniel and his three friends, the 10 days were,
and will be for us, a time for testing, to show what the
results are of my eating only from God Himself and not the
world system.
July 27/28 also stands out to me because back in 2018, on
that very night was a very long lasting blood moon eclipse
right next to a very bright and close Mars, with both right
in front of the constellation of what is commonly named
Capricorn but I believe it is a distortion of what Jonah did
[a being coming out of the sea to walk on land in order to
give a message from the god(s) to humans]. Back in
2018 I stood outside and looked at that obvious sign of
coming judgement but had no idea of the timing.
Perhaps it was a five year heads-up.
Knowing God the little bit I do, I believe He does not
"break a sweat" in dove-tailing multiple calendars.
That way He is able to tie together the anniversary of whey
we recieved the outpouring of wine from heaven (and perhaps
when we will also be given new wineskins for an abundance of
the Holy Spirit), with the anniversary of when yet another
temple was removed from the people of Israel due to their
unbelief.
