In reply to your 7/03 post The Rider on the White Horse (fivedoves.com) here is a new meaning for the bow that the rider on the white horse had at New Light On The White Horse & Rider Of Revelation 6:2 - Friends N Christ (ning.com)  According to this article, the bow is a rainbow on the gay pride flag.  This is the first time that I have heard this explanation.

I thought the rider on the white horse was the Antichrist because Jesus is up in heaven opening the seals, and the bow was a covenant with the people agreeing with the Antichrist to worship him as God and to bow down to his image.  I also don't think the first seal is the rapture because I think the rapture has taken place before the 1st seal is opened, and the multitude of people taken to heaven after the 6th seal is opened are all the martyrs that have been slain by the Antichrist and any believers hiding that are left alive who have not worshipped him nor taken his mark in their forehead or right hand.
