"THE LUKEWARM LAODICEAN CHURCH (Poem) by Donna Danna"

THE LUKEWARM LAODICEAN CHURCH

To the lukewarm Laodicean Church
Your tepid hearts you'd better search
You say you're rich and you're wealthy
While sin has crept in very stealthy
The riches in your hands are but fool's gold
While your hearts wax neither hot nor cold
Out of my mouth I will spew
Every last one of you
You are poor, you are nude
You are blind, some are lewd
Fallen down on your face
You are in utter shame and disgrace
Your Emperor Satan's 'new clothes'
Does your nakedness now expose
And if you think abortion is morally right
Then you are blind and have no sight
Buy eye salve for your blind eyes
And exchange truth for your lies
I stand outside your heart's door and knock
Waiting for your heart to open to me and unlock
The one way, only the key
Called truth will set you free
You're past due for a confession
Of each and every sin and transgression
May you see your sins in my one true light
And wear the Bride's clothes clean and white
Repent now and come to me before it's too late
Before I've closed heaven's door and shut the gate
