Over the years of posting material, the numbers associated with Jared (the father) and Enoch (the son) from Genesis 5 proved paramount. 

Here is an amazing Jared find that God hid long ago in a unique verse, Colossians 2:9. This was hidden long before Genesis was written and long before the patriarch Jared was born. 

Colossians 2:9

“For in Him (Jesus ) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”

”Godhead” (Deity) Strong’s G2320

In-text gematria value = 962

Jared lived 962 years:

Genesis 5:20

So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.

This is on another level. I’ve often said that all Bible number systems align, or “dovetail”.  This isn’t about number systems, but about a careful decision that God made in regard to His Son, Christ Jesus. The decision to associate His Son’s divinity with a number that would be shared by a man who lived and died in Genesis 5 thousands of years before Christ’s Incarnation. 

Colossians 1:16 is so very true:

“… all things were created through Him and for Him. 

Amen.

Jesus is Lord.
