Hello Gino, John and Doves,
Gino wrote an interesting letter
last week -
Gino always has thought provoking
questions that often lead to more questions and many of
those questions I've asked myself and have no real answer
for. I'm often just as stumped or I'd be throwing out
a 'guess'.
John's site is unique in that it's
'letters' - like letters to a friend. Where we can
present ideas, share a news article, ask questions, tell
stories, encourage one another, especially about the
nearness of the Rapture. It's a site of many
"Watchmen". We are doing as Jesus commanded us -
"Watch for Him!"
I see Gino as the 'question asking'
letter writer on Doves - these questions are necessary to
get people thinking, pulling out their Bibles and studying
scripture for themselves. Not just reading The Bible -
but studying it and looking for answers to many, many
questions that we all have. Many of us may not have an
answer but we realize there is much we don't know or
understand and we're not alone. We share those
questions with Gino.
We need everyone's letters - as
Gino wrote, whether we agree with a comment or not. It
keeps us motivated, studying, questioning, and searching The
Word. Everyone has something unique to add. I
know it can be time consuming with busy lives to write out a
letter, but if the topic is important to you, it's important
to write it down and share it and I believe that the Holy
Spirit will direct whatever person needs to read that letter
to that letter. That's how I feel about my often long
and boring/'newsy' letters - if the Holy Spirit wants a
person to read a particular letter, they'll be directed to
it - for whatever they can glean from it. I believe
that the Holy Spirit will move people to the letters that
will impact their lives...somehow. Maybe encouraging
them, maybe giving them some news that will help them make a
decision, maybe getting them to go to their Bible, maybe
keeping them informed on what the devil is up to......
As I've written before, God will
sort it all out. He has all the answers. And as Gino
wrote 'we'll think back on all of this when we're in the New
Jerusalem". One day we'll have the whole
picture. All that will matter is The Truth - God's
Truth. All of our questions will be answered and
differences will no longer exist.
Thank you, Gino, for your
insightful letter. Yes, even Paul and Peter disagreed
on certain topics. And the Sanhedrin and the Essenes
differed in how they interpreted the Torah. And the
messianic Jews had problems with the Gentile
Christians! All in that first century. I, too,
find it challenging to 'influence' someone's beliefs - ex. I
have friends who believe there is no such thing as the
Rapture. They have their verses, I have mine and ne'er
the two shall meet! It is what it is and we respect
each other's different views.
In Paul's many letters - to his
'friends' - he always began his letters lovingly and
respectfully and ended his letters with loving
salutations. He truly cared about the people he wrote
to. Helping them, encouraging them, teaching them,
admonishing them... Always desiring good for
them. Doves letters are to 'friends' also.
Friends we have yet to meet.
And I agree with Gino about
Donna. Donna Danna is a dear woman of God with many,
many talents! Her recent poems were an amazing
surprise and the 'gematria'
letters are far above my pay grade - we have several letter
writers that just amaze me! She is truly
inspired! And Donna's news articles show us how bad
things are and which way the world is heading. Just
check them out.
There is only ONE Truth to every
question and that's God's Truth. We will fully
understand when we're in Heaven. Until then...we'll
keep looking up and we'll keep the candle burning.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
Chance
You think you're alone there in
your silent storm
But I've seen the tears you've
cried falling down and trying to drown
The flame of hope inside
Let me tell you now, tell you
now
When you're walking in the dead
of night
And your soul is churning
When your hope seems out of
sight
Keep the candle burning
All it takes is one steady heart
in a world that's turning
Shine a light and pierce the
dark
Keep the candle burning
Keep the candle burning
When you're down and you're
discouraged
When the darkness clouds your
view
You've got to gather up your
courage
You know the lord is gonna see
you through
Let me tell you now
Tell you now
When you're walking in the dead
of night
And your soul is churning
When your hope seems out of
sight
Keep the candle burning
All it takes is one steady heart
in a world that's turning
Shine a light and pierce the
dark
Keep the candle burning
Keep the candle burning
One ray of light always breaks
through
Follow wherever he takes you
Wherever he takes you
When you're walking in the dead
of night
And your soul is churning
When your hope seems out of
sight
Keep the candle burning
All it takes is one steady heart
in a world that's turning
Shine a light and pierce the
dark
Keep the candle burning
Keep the candle burning - you
gotta keep the candle burning!
When you're walking in the dead
of night
When your soul is churning
Hope seems out of sight
Keep the candle burning
Just one steady heart in a world
that's turning
Shine a light and pierce the
dark
Keep the candle burning
Keep the candle burning
