John and Doves, Many people are asking themselves... 'Why isn't the Rapture here yet?' "We weren't supposed to be here for the judgements we are now witnessing." Here is what  2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2 says about the timing of  "our gathering together". I will use the KJV version of the Bible, with my gleanings from the Holy Spirit (in parenthesis ) as I understand the message. ********** "Now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him (Rapture) is at hand. "That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that  *the day of CHRIST* (Rapture) is at hand." [Day of CHRIST means Rapture (Philippians);  Day of the LORD means Judgment (Zephaniah).] "Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day (Rapture) shall NOT come except there come   1.a falling away first:  (global apostacy). 2." and that man of sin"  ( future antichrist) "be revealed, the son of perdition." "Who opposeth": (God, Israel and nuclear militarism?) "and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped." "So that he --as God--  SITTETH in the temple of God, SHOWING" (demonstrating)  "himself that he IS God." "Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things ?" "And now you know what  witholdeth"  77 "that he" (the future antichrist)  "might be revealed in his time. " ~~~~~ Explanation: [Timing is involved here... The man of sin cannot  reveal himself until he knows for sure that the world has a majority of godless people.  That way he is assured of acceptance and will have little resistance.] [Jesus asked in Luke 18:8 if He would find Faith on the earth in the last days???  So the global apostacy has to happen first, before the man of sin will reveal himself ] ***** Now we come to verses 6 and 7, the hardest part of all. It is confusing here because pronouns are used without stating WHO the pronouns are referring to specifically. Since Paul states in  2 TH 2 verse 5 that he had visited the Thessalonians previously, with information that is not given here in this context, then we are left solely to the Holy Spirit's impartation as to who Paul is referring to in these pronouns. ********** " For the mystery of iniquity"  (the mystery of why God allows evil) "doth already work." ( evil has been allowed since the beginning). "Only HE" ( GOD) "Who now lets"  ( Who now allows) "Will let" ( will continue to allow evil to exist) "until he"  (Satan) "be taken out of the way" (until Satan is cast into the bottomless pit ... the abyss..  please see  Revelation 20 :10.) ********* Now we switch the focus from the future antichrist to the future  FALSE PROPHET who is referred to as  'THAT WICKED'. verse 8. "And then shall  THAT WICKED" ( the False Prophet) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His (Jesus')  coming." Please see Rev.19:20 "Even him (False Prophet) whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders" We already see a rise in mysticism, the occult, sorcery, witchcraft and tech- magic. (lying wonders) .We are also awash with  special effects,  pixel manipulation,  dark magic,  ai, holograms, metaverse etc. Matthew 24: 4 "let no man deceive you" Please note this applicable quote from  Arthur C.
