Through Daniel's 69 weeks prophecy, God has clearly told Israelis when will their Messiah come, that is, on Palm Sunday in 32 AD. But they have missed God's message by overlooking the 69 weeks prophecy.

Has God given up on them yet? Not really. God has given them a second chance to know the day of their Messiah shall come, by giving them a seven weeks prophecy through the prophet Daniel again, that is, their Messiah shall return to Jerusalem on Nisan 15, 49 days later, on Pentecost,  restoration of Jerusalem is complete. In Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy, God has given the Jews two dates of their Messiah's coming. The first one is on Palm Sunday 32 AD. The second one is on Nisan 15. They missed the first one. Hopefully they shall not miss the second one.
