Television broadcasts began around 1948, the same year that Israel became a nation and returned as a free, independent people for the first time since 721 BC (2669 years!).   Many people just spend their evenings sitting mindlessly in front of the boob tube!   Quite an end time phenomenon!   What did people do, say in 1870?   Well perhaps they spent their time reading their Bibles!   Now that is a novel idea!   By the way, the Bible is very clear (way too much Scripture to go into here!) that when Israel returned in 1948 we entered the "End Times" of this present dispensation of time that we are currently living in, the "Church Age".

Take a very close look at Revelation 11:9!   "And those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will LOOK at their dead bodies for three and a half days......."   This could only happen in human history with the advent of television and TV satellites relaying signals around the world!   Those TV relay satellites were placed in orbit around the earth in the late 1960's and early 1970's.   John the Revelator knew nothing about our modern technology, yet God gave him the words to describe what we have today!   The Bible is a truly amazing Book, 100% accurate, both the New and Old Testaments!

If you are Jewish and you are reading this, I would like to remind you that Revelation 11:9 is a powerful prophecy from the NEW Testament, and it is accurate.   The rest of the NEW Testament is true too!   Our Jewish Messiah was prophesied in the Tanakh (Old Testament) over 300 times.   You know all the surprise endings in movies?   Well God has a surprise ending for us Jewish People!   Guess Who?   We will find out it was Him all along when His feet descend on the Mount of Olives at the Second Coming------ surprise, this is in the Tanakh, OUR Book------ Zechariah 14:1-4!   Oh, by the way, while you are in Zechariah, take a close look at Zechariah 14:12------ nuclear war in these End Times!   Don't want to be here for that?   Accept our Jewish Messiah as your Lord and Savior, and you will be going up in the Rapture and miss the nuclear war event!   Life after the upcoming Rapture is going to be both miserable and terrifying!   It is known as the 7 year Tribulation Period leading to the Second Coming.  It is known in Daniel as "Daniel's 70th week" (Daniel 9:24-27).

I will enclose a short anecdote.  In the late 1950's my father and I would always watch Jackie Gleason in "The Honeymooners"!    Jackie Gleason would always say, "Alice, one of these days, Alice, one of these days you are going to the moon!"   That didn't happen in the late 1950's, but we did make it to the moon in 1969 thanks to Daniel 12:4 that "knowlege would increase at the time of the end" and Joel 2:30 that there would be "wonders in the sky" in the last days!

A very last thought and I will close.   There are many religions of man, but only one truth of God, and that is found in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments!   And God never intended for there to be "denominations" (1 Corinthians 1:10-13).   Man sadly made up the "denominations" through history.
