"UNDERSTANDING THE "LORD'S PRAYER""

UNDERSTANDING THE "LORD'S PRAYER".........

Part of the Lord's Prayer reads as follows :

Matthew 6:13    ( Lord's Prayer )

"And lead us NOT INTO TEMPTATION, but DELIVER US from EVIL"

Because Scripture interprets Scripture the following Scripture helps us to better understand the Lord's Prayer as stated in Matthew 6:13

Revelation 3:10

"Because YOU HAVE KEPT THE WORD of My patience,  I will KEEP YOU FROM the HOUR OF TEMPTATION which shall come upon the whole word TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL upon the earth."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

When we who "KEEP THE WORD" of God pray the Lord's Prayer we are asking the Lord to enter "US NOT INTO" the "HOUR OF TEMPTATION” which is the " EVIL" TIME on earth when God's GREAT TRIBULATION JUDGMENT will come upon the whole world to try them who are left-behind to dwell upon the earth , but rather please RAPTURE US from this "EVIL" TIME to come.

In Matthew 6:13 the phrases, "into temptation" and "from evil" are both speaking of the coming "evil" time when God’s Great Tribulation judgment upon the whole world occurs. The phrase "deliver us" means please RAPTURE US before God's Great Tribulation judgment begins upon the whole world. That means the rapture of the Body of Christ Church will be a pre-tribulation event

In Revelation 3:10 the phrase, "I will keep you from the hour of temptation “ is the Lord's promise to the Church that He will rapture us to heaven before "the hour of temptation" begins which is God’s Great Tribulation Judgment upon the whole world.  The phrase, "them that dwell upon the earth" is speaking of the left-behind, after the rapture of the Church,  who will then be tried by God during God's Great Tribulation judgment.

According to Your Holy Word,  come  Lord Jesus !
