In reply to your 7/11 post at Can taking the 666 Mark of the Beast ever be forgiven? MARK 9:43-48 (fivedoves.com) I don't think taking the mark of the beast will be forgiven.

First of all, according to Rev. 14:6-7, an angel will preach the everlasting gospel to everyone on Earth which would include the message of salvation.  (Matt. 28:18-20) Jesus also said in Matt. 24:14, "And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

Rev. 14:6-7 says, "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

Finally, according to Rev. 14: 9-11, a third angel followed the 1st & 2nd angels saying in a loud voice,  " I f  any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

What would be the point in the 1st angel preaching the gospel to everyone on Earth and in the 3rd  angel warning the people on Earth not to worship the beast and his image nor to receive his mark if they already had worshipped the the beast and his image and had already taken the beast's mark.  It sounds like the 3rd angel gives an advance warning not to worship the beast and his image and not to receive the mark of the beast in the right hand or forehead because Rev. 14:12-13 says, "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."  Anyone not worshipping the beast and his image is going to be killed (beheaded) and end up in heaven; and they will not be receiving the mark of the beast in the forehead or in the right hand in order to buy or sell.  If any person worships the beast and his image and receives his mark in the right hand or in the forehead is going to receive the wrath of God and be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

How is someone going to receive the Mark of the Beast 666 in the forehead or in the right hand first in order to buy or sell before worshipping the beast when the identity of the beast hasn't yet been revealed so that men can worship him and an image of the beast hasn't yet been made for men to worship either.   I don't think anyone is going to receive the mark of the beast 666 in the right hand or in the forehead before worshipping the beast and his image. 

Also the verses in Matt. 5:28-30 plucking out one's right eye and cutting off one's right hand has nothing to do with forgiveness for taking the mark of the beast in the forehead or in the right hand. It shows that eternal life is more important than our physical mortal life.  In regards to plucking out the right eye that offends you in 5:29, Jesus in verse 5:28 was referring to lust which could lead to adultery.  It also could lead to rape, incest, homosexuality, child molestation, pedophilia which are all examples of lust.  As for cutting off your right hand, it may very well refer to theft.  In other words, these are both drastic measures, but would be reminders not to commit the same sin again unless you want to end up blind by plucking out the left eye and starve or be able to work for a living by cutting off the left hand as well.  People have actually had their hands cut off in Saudia Arabia as a punishment for stealing and gouging out a person's eyes is for adultery. A sinner does not receive forgiveness by cutting off their own right hand or plucking out their right eyeball or cutting off their foot. What a person really needs to do to receive forgiveness is to repent and confess their sins to God by the conviction of the Holy Spirit and not to repeat the same sin again with the help of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth them from all unrighteousness and sin according to 1 John 1:7 & 9.  

However, please note that in Rev. 16:2 that those men ending up with a noisome and grievous sore who had worshipped the image of beast and who had the mark of the beast do not repent according to Rev. 16:9 & 11 nor do those in Rev. 9:20-21. 

Rev. 16:2, "And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image."

Rev. 16:9, "And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory."

Rev. 16:11, "And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds."

Rev. 9:20-21, "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts."

Those who worship the beast and his image and take his mark in the right hand or in the forehead to buy and sell are deceived by the miracles and lying wonders so they end up worshipping the beast and then taking his mark.

Rev. 13:11-17 says, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

Rev. 16:13-14 says, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."

Rev. 18:23-24, "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

Rev. 19:20, "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

2 Thess. 2:3-4 says, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Rev. 13:2-4, "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"

With one of the beast's heads as it were wounded to death by a sword  (Rev. 13:14) and yet the beast does live is going to look like a miraculous healing to the people on Earth who will worship him as God along with worshipping his image.
