Hello doves, 
Just a quick thought about Tish b’Av the 9th of Av which is today, Sunday July 18th when this is published. 
Pastor F.M. Riley sent out a teaching via email about the 9th of Av which may also be published today- I recommend that you read it also.  

It got me to thinking and I wanted to add a few supplemental thoughts. 
We always associate the 9th of Av with the destruction of both of the Temples, and it is to be sure. 
But here are the questions we should ask. 

Who ultimately destroyed the temples? God or His enemies?

If it was God’s enemies- would they have been able to destroy it if His Spirit was still present?
Obviously no. 

Do we have any examples of God’s Spirit departing prior to the destruction of the Temple?
Yes we do, look at Ezekiel 10:15-19

How about this - do we have any idea of where the Spirit of God resides now?
1 Corinthians 3:16 tells us that born again Christians are the current Temple of God. 

Do we have any indication of the next time the Spirit of God will depart?
2 Thessalonians 2:7  says “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”

I wonder if the rapture day has been hidden in plain sight all along as a day when like in Ezekiel 10 the Spirit of God will depart - only this time the Restrainer does not depart His Temple, He takes His temple with Him! 

The 9th of Av, the day of destruction- 1 Thessalonians 5:1 “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”

I guess we will know by the end of the day- I am hopeful. I am submitting this letter as a testimony to those left behind in case Sunday finds us finally gone.
