We can do this by
putting on the whole armour of God so we can stand against
the wiles of the devil!
The belt of
truth to use against the lies of Satan.
He is the father of lies.
The helmet of
salvation - we have salvation through
Jesus. The evil ones can not take this from
us. Jesus is coming back for us - this is our hope
of our soon salvation.
The sword of the
Spirit. We use the Word of God to repel
and deflect the blows of the evil one. The Word of
God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
The breastplate
of righteousness is God's gift to us to protect
our heart and soul from evil.
The shield of
faith protects us from "the flaming arrows of
the evil one." We have faith in what God has told
us. We have faith in His promises.
The shoes of
peace bring us God's peace - we have peace with
Him. We have peace knowing God is on the
throne. Peace comes from His Good News.
We can not fight Satan
alone. All of this armour is from God to help us.
Jesus has overcome the
world! And because He has overcome the world, we,
His followers have overcome the world. Nothing can
snatch us from His hands.
As we see society
collapsing around us, we daily put on the whole armour of
God. Daily we are fighting off the evil one.
Our house is built on rock - the rock is the Son of God.
Our house is not built on sand. When we start to
sink, we get back on 'the rock'.
We must brace
ourselves! It's only going to get worse.
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
