Did not the wrong king want to make the people's yoke even heavier?
II Chronicles 10:13 And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,14 And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
But, then, doesn't the right King want to make the yoke easier?
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
