"I was asked about whether Christians should be involved in civil unrest"

I was just asked about an answer to the following:

Reading in Philippians 2.
An answer to whether Christians should be involved in protests and civil unrest (or even ‘counter protests’),
look at verses 14-16a:
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Holding forth the word of life...”

To which I responded:
Amen
totally agree
Are we now to be primarily concerned with the kingdom of God, even more than with the U.S.?

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Are we now primarily different kinds of citizens, more than U.S. citizens?

Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Are we now even ambassadors, but not ambassadors for the U.S.?

II Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Then, is it not wrong to desire a better country?

Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Or is it political heresy to state such things, especially in an election year?
