Hello John and Doves,
Several
of us here on Doves have looked at another way of
calculating the day of Pentecost - counting the seven
sabbaths and then adding 50 days as written in Leviticus
and Deuteronomy. Differences occur in when to
start counting, which days to count, etc. Our dates
range from July 19 to July 26.
Dr. Barry Awe has a
youtube video study, where he calculates the New
Pentecost. He shows his calculations/counting at
about 42 minutes in if you wish to start there. His
method of counting uses Leviticus, the seven sabbaths, but
then he uses a count from the Feast of Weeks - a 7 day
festival - plus the 40 days that Moses is on the
mountain. He thinks both ways of counting to the
True Pentecost are correct - and should end up on ABOUT
the same day. See the link below.
In his chart, he shows
the new moons of the Hebrew months, and the 7 day
weeks. He counts through the 7 sabbaths and then
there is the 50th day. Dr. B believes that this is
True Shavuot - the Feast of Weeks.
He said then 1) one
could from there add the 50 day count which takes one to
True Pentecost OR 2) you could do the count the way he
does: He believes the Feast of Weeks is a week long
feast, maybe plus one day - after God gave the Israelites
the Ten Commandments, God called Moses and the 70 Elders
up the mountain for 6 days then on the 7th day He
called Moses and Joshua up higher. This is the 21st
day of the 3rd month which is the 7th day they were up
there...but Moses was up there another 40 days and 40
nights...so this is actually the first day of Moses' 40
days. Then he counts 40 days - and he ends up on 30
Tammuz. The following day is 1 Av - the day he
believes is the True Pentecost, the 1st day of the 5th
Monday.
On his calendar/chart
True Shavuot/Feat of Weeks is 15 Sivan (3rd month) - the
full moon, June 7 - Jews use 6 Sivan as Shavuot. One
week takes us to June 13 or 21 Sivan. He says that
the 7th day is also day one of the 40 day count of Moses.
He goes on to say the
first day of the 5th month (Av) fits with "new
wine"....this fits with Peter saying they aren't drunk, as
the grape harvest was recent. He believe this is the
'true Pentecost'. It's the 1st of Av. He
believes this is a 7 day feast plus one extra. This
would then take us to the most ominous day - the 9th of
Av.
July 24/25 (1 Av) is
the new moon. (See my side note below.)
He also said, this seven
days of Pentecost could be like the seven days Noah and
his family were sealed in the ark waiting for the
apocalypse/flood to start - and then the Rapture occurs on
9th of Av.
He said New Pentecost is July 24th/25th at the
new moon plus add the next seven days for the feast -
then "maybe all H will break loose on 9 Av".
He has the Feast of
Weeks and Pentecost as two completely different days -
separated by approximately 50 days.
The
Essenes do this also. Feast of Weeks is counted
out with the seven sabbaths and then the New Wine
Festival is counted out with the additional 50
days. This New Wine Festival could be the New
Pentecost. (see links below on New Wine Festival
info)
"Did We
Just Find The Rapture Date Together? Jun 26, 2020
Dr. B Awe has July 24/25
as his New Pentecost date, 1 Av; and gevte has July 25/26
as his New Pentecost date, the New Wine Festival of the
Essenes (see his video link below).
July 25/26 - this date
is interesting because Strong's Greek 726 = harpazo (catch
up, take by force, pluck, carry off by force) This
date was calculated by gevte (Apr 27, 2020)
I sure hope we are this
close to the Rapture! Wouldn't that be something?!
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
Maranatha!

Side note: On the
chabad.org calendar 1 Av is July 22. On this calendar, the
month of Tammuz has 29 days, and not 30 days. So his
1 Av would be 2 Av?
The new moon will be 1%
visible on July 21, it will be 5% visible on July
22. So if using the sighted moon, 1 Av is July 22.
The Essenes have the New
Wine Festival on 3 Av. And that would be July 23/24
pretty close to the above dates.
I find it easier just to
add the 50 days and call if good. :)
