"GOD'S THREE PROMISES TO ABRAHAM"

GOD'S THREE PROMISES TO ABRAHAM IN THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT.........

God promised to give Abraham a Promised Land - which He did.

God promised to make a great nation from the many descendants of Abraham - which He did.

God promised to send that nation, of many, a promised Messiah -  which He did, but they crucified Him.

The ministry of Jesus Christ began when He was baptized, and is described as, "He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week" in Daniel 9:27. Jesus was in the process of confirming the third promise that God had made to Abraham during the 70th week of Daniel when He was cut-off in the "midst of the week". The ministry of Jesus began the 70th week of Daniel.

The Apostle Paul describes the ministry of Jesus Christ this way :

Romans 15:8

"Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision ( Jews ) for the truth of God, TO CONFIRM THE ( covenant ) PROMISES MADE UNTO THE FATHERS" ( Abraham, Issac, and Jacob in. the Abrahamic Covenant )

So there you have it : The "he" in Daniel 9:27 is identified as Jesus Christ by the Apostle Paul. No one has reason to be mistaken about the identity of the "he" in Daniel 9:27 any longer.

Come Lord Jesus
