"WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES"

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES IN THE FOLLOWING TWO PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES............

The following two prophetic Scriptures were BOTH  spoken by Jesus at different times  so why are they completely different in the fact "THAT DAY" is missing from the latest Scripture ?  What changed after the first Scripture was given that said, "THAT DAY AND HOUR", which caused the prophecy to change in the second  Scripture to only "WHAT HOUR" , and leave out "THAT DAY" ? Was it a lapse of memory of the mind of the Lord ?  I think not ! NOTHING SLIPS THE MIND OF JESUS ! So why was "THAT DAY" left out of the Scripture?

Matthew 24:36

"But of THAT DAY AND HOUR no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but MY FATHER ONLY."

Revelation 3:3

"Therefore if you will not watch I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know WHAT HOUR I will come upon you."

Here is what happened in between the times that the two previous prophecies were spoken which caused Jesus to omit the phrase,  "THAT DAY" from the second prophecy. Remember, Jesus said ,"MY FATHER ONLY" knows :

Revelation 1:1

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ which THE FATHER GAVE HIM to show His servants of things which must shortly take place."

So there you have it. The Father, who was the ONLY ONE who knew of "THAT DAY"  revealed it to Jesus , and Jesus in turn has then revealed it to us in the Book of Revelation. He revealed "THAT DAY"  but not "WHAT HOUR" . Jesus expects us to now know "THAT DAY" of His coming, but we must still watch for "WHAT HOUR" He will come.

Revelation 1:3

"BLESSED IS HE who reads the words of this prophecy, and believes those things which are written in it ."

Come Lord Jesus !
