Hi John and Doves,

It occurred to me, in a flash of illumination, that our LORD Jesus needs to complete the 70th week - confirming THE covenant between Almighty God and Israel. As He was cut off in the midst of the final 70th week, Lord Jesus needs to complete it.

I found this brilliant burst of understanding so very comforting. It makes so much sense to my spirit. Israel WILL have her covenant with Almighty God confirmed as it was meant to be confirmed the first time.. And this time - they WILL recognise their Messiah. Praise the Lord. It will all come full circle, once the 70th week has been completed. 3.5 years left to completion - and those 3.5 years will see our LORD Jesus walk this earth once again. He will destroy the evil ones with the brightness of His coming. Our Father God has promised to cut those days short.
