In the book of Revelation, the letters to the churches (which are in ASIA) hold warnings of "tolerating Jezebel" etc. Only one church comes out without condemnation or warning. 

The Christian churches in that region - Africa, France, Greece, Russia etc., are pretty much heavily influenced by the Roman Catholic church. The Greek Orthodox church - the Russian Orthodox church. These people are fully into replacement theology.
