Wow. Harsh words. Today seems to be the day of sending biting retorts back.

Elliott Hong is a wonderful contributor to 5 Doves. I have the same reservations about President Trump. Bottom line, Jeff B - Trump is the man who will push for a 2 state solution. It's sensible -promotes the biggest earthly solution to the conflict in the Middle East - and, more importantly - it's financially amazing. In a world that has become difficult to make money in, as investment opportunities have all been gobbled up -the Middle East is like the Wild West of yesteryear. Ripe for investment and a HUGE amount of money to be made. The fact that this will mean dividing God's land, means little to the politicians. Despite the many warnings in the Bible.against messing with Israel. This "Peace to Prosperity" garbage is WRONG on so many levels. It's terrifying. It will result in WW3 = carnage and destruction. It will invoke the WRATH of Almighty God. President D Trump is the man who has kick-started this abomination. He has dragged the USA army to the Middle East - knowing full well that war is coming. Those young American soldiers will be used to ensure the money people and politicians get their way.

President Donald Trump is a narcissist. Like it or not. He's a brilliant man -business wise. He has tapped into the American (and world) psyche and soothed our ruffled feathers. Calmed our fears. He has validated Jerusalem for the Jewish people.  ALL the right things. There is a catch though - it involves the old "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type scenario. Pres Trump is no bleeding heart philanthropist. Softies do NOT get to be filthy rich with stunning wives  and golf courses coming out of their ears. One has to be pretty ruthless and single minded.

The 4th July extravaganza played into every sentimental American heart. It also sent a powerful message to the world. "Check this out - we are powerful...look at our military hardware".. It also sent a clear message to the Democrats. Pres Trump made it abundantly clear that he has the military squarely on his side.

If anything, Jeff B..you owe Elliott Hong an apology. Elliott expressed his educated and scripturally informed opinion and you reacted as if he was Nancy Pelosi spitting on the American flag and then blowing her nose on it, for good measure. Let's get real and start looking at the bigger picture.
