Hello John and Doves,
In re-looking at Rabbi
Shlomo Ephraims' prophecy about the Gog War - "...there
will be a sacrifice in Basra that should
be in the war of Gog and Magog and that it should happen
or occur in a place by Basra named Hormuz...its name is
Basra and it is next to Asher which is Assyria and Persia
in between the boundary of the land of Edom - The Hormuz."
I wondered about the word
'sacrifice' - I looked it up in Strong's and found that it
could also mean slaughter; butchery (figuratively) of men
(destruction).
Did this rabbi predict a
military attack in the Strait of Hormuz? Maybe an
attack on and sinking of a carrier? There may be
British war ships along with American war ships in the
Persian Gulf/Gulf of Oman. An attack on these ships
with anti-ship ballistic missiles would be able to kill
thousands at a time and somewhat quickly. This would
indeed be a 'slaughter'.
A carrier strike group
could have 10,000 to 15,000 sailors and contractors on
board. A US aircraft carrier has about 5,500 souls on
board. To date, Iran has had plenty of time to test and
perfect their anti-ship ballistic missiles.
I found a 1606 map of the
Ottoman Empire labeled with the Strait of Basra or "Basora
Fretum". An earlier name for the Strait of
Hormuz. Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim served as the Rabbi of
Prague from 1604 to 1619. So this is the map of the
time period for this area.

Will there be a military
slaughter in the Strait of Hormuz? Will this help
explain why none of Israel's allies come to her aid in the
Gog War?
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
