"Medical Update"

Hi all. Had my GI appt this morning. Long day for sure. It was extremely crowded and the Doc was moving pretty quickly through patients to weed down the crowd. I would have wanted more time with him. Explained the gut pain and asked what Sister-in-law Meredith wanted to be addressed and that was the Pylori Sphincter as a family member has issues in the same area. The Doc said I have no rupture in it but for a few years per medical history said has been stretched out and with my other medical issues and size is out of the question to address it through surgery. I explained my Lipodema as he not aware of it. Thus no way to fix that part of me. I told him that my Thyroid meds were not being assimilated in the gut and Endocrinologist very concerned of something serious there. I also told him my Oncologist also asked me to see him as well due to my cancers. He said that he could not at this time do a Colonoscopy to biopsy my stomach, colon and intestines. He said it has only been 2 yrs and not yet permitted by insurance. Said I would have to go to ER and through them to admit me to biopsy all areas. I asked about the gut pain as thus far managed by Baclofen and Sucralfate and when pain go more intense to be given Morphine in ER. I pondered this as the Pylori Sphincter has been around longer than the pain and incontinence. For now I had 8 vials of blood drawn today and to do stool sample. Will do another CT Scan. Incontinence is several times weekly and pain in gut daily. I also still have the weakness and at times nausea and dizziness. Tomorrow I go to the Radiology Specialist and see what happens there. I know I don't have ulcers per Scans so concerned about serious issues. Do pray for me.

 Thank you.
