should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things

Introduction
I recently wrote and posted a Bible
Study entitled, "New Jerusalem." Ho boy! Did I get a
response! I am always pleased when people respond to my
studies, either pro or con, for I know then that my studies are
being read, and I am not just wasting my time writing out the
great truths of the Word of God.
However, I was surprised at how many of
my readers have never seriously studied the subject in God's
Word, or have convinced themselves that, when it comes to New
Jerusalem, the Scriptures simply do not mean what they actually
and literally say. Sad!
I mean no offense to any reader in
making this statement. No reader has any obligation to
agree with me about God's Word, but every true believer has a
Scriptural obligation to agree with what God's Word actually and
literally says and teaches [Romans 3:4], and to "rightly divide
the Word of truth," 2 Timothy 2:15. No true believer
is exempt from these inspired statements in God's Word.
None!
Therefore in this study I want to deal
with some of the responses I received from my New Jerusalem
study, and again set forth Scriptural truth on the
subject. Join me for a study which I hope will be
enlightening, and a blessing to every reader.......
A Statement
I sent out an apology for a glaring
error in my original study, regarding the size of New
Jerusalem. I will be glad to send a copy of my apology and
my explanation for the error, to any reader who did not receive
a copy. Just send me your request. Now let's deal
with the responses I received.......
The Size of New Jerusalem
The Greek word translated as "furlongs"
in Revelation 21:16, is the word, "stadion." See Strong's
No. 4712. The Biblical "furlong," according to the best
reference I can find, was 606 feet, Multiply this figure
by 12,000 to find the amount of feet; 7,272,000. However,
the Biblical "mile" [Matthew 5:41] was only 4,860 feet; not the
same amount of feet in our mile today. So divide the
number of feet in 12,000 furlongs by 4,860 to get the miles;
1,496.2962. Round it off and the wall of New Jerusalem is
1,500 miles in length, or 6,000 miles around the wall of the
city on all four sides. Keep in mind that the inspired
Word explicitly states, "The length and the breadth and the
height of it are equal," Rev. 21:16. So this city also
towers 1,500 miles into space. As I said in my previous
study, New Jerusalem is B-I-G.
This should make the size of the city
quite clear to every reader who wants to believe the truth of
God's Word. But now let's go to.....
The Shape of New Jerusalem
Here is where the "rub" comes in with
some of our readers. The responses I received to the
original study, mentioned several different shapes for New
Jerusalem. So let's study the Word again, and find out
what it has to say.......
Seven times, or possibly eight times,
the inspired Word repeats the statement about our Lord Jesus
Christ.....
[1] "Therefore thus saith the Lord God,
Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a
precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth
shall not make haste," Isaiah 28:16.
[?] "Who art thou, O great mountain?
before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring
forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace
unto it," Zechariah 4:7.
[2] "Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read
in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the
same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes?" Matthew 21:42.
[3] "And have ye not read this Scripture; The stone
which the builders rejected is become the head of the
corner:" Mark 12:10.
[4] "And He beheld them, and said, What is this then
that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same
is become the head of the corner?" Luke 20:17.
[5] "This is the stone which was set at nought of
you builders, which is become the head of the corner." Acts
4:11.
[6] "And are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief
corner stone." Ephesians 2:20.
[7] "Wherefore also it is contained in the
Scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect,
precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded.
Unto you therefore which believe He is
precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which
the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the
corner," 1 Peter 2:6-7.
Here are all seven (or eight) passages
in God's Word which clearly state that Christ Jesus, our Lord,
is.......
The "Head" of New Jerusalem
Now if our readers will look up the
meaning of this expression in your own Concordance, or Hebrew
and Greek Lexicon, it will be a real eye opener to some
readers. In the Hebrew Old Testament, Strong's No. is
7222. In the Greek New Testament, Strong's No. is 2776,
except for the passage in Ephesians, and that number is Strong's
204. Now how could I make it any easier for our readers to
study this expression for
themselves?
The definition of every single one of
these words in the Hebrew and Greek is similar in meaning.
They all define "head" as meaning, "the
top; head; capstone; the highest stone; the stone at the topmost
or elevated position." Look this up and see for
yourselves.
Also every single definition for
"corner" is defined as, "capstone; corner stone; stone which
caps the top." Again, look it up and see this truth for
yourself.
Dear readers, there is only one type of
architecture known to man which has a capstone which is also a
corner stone, and that is a pyramid.
And many pyramids were built with the top being exactly equal in
height to the side at the bottom. Just
"coincidence?" Be careful how you answer, for the Lord God
is listening, Matthew 12:36-37.
Oh yes, I did receive other
responses. The most popular response is that New Jerusalem
has to be a "cube," because it is clearly stated to be
foursquare [Rev. 21:16], and the "Most Holy Place" in the Jewish
Tabernacle and later in their Temple was foursuare; a "cube."
My answer to this response is that the
"Most Holy Place" in both the Tabernacle and the Temple was
located inside of those structures, and the exterior of neither
the Tabernacle or the Temple was a "cube."
Now there may very well be a "Most Holy
Place" inside New Jerusalem. I haven't the slightest idea
whether there is or not, for the Scriptures do not say, and I
have no way of finding out before I get there. But tell
me.......
On a normal building, which may or may
not be square, or "cube" shaped, where is the corner stone
located? Is it at the top of the building, or in one side
of the building, usually near the bottom? Where is
it? I suspect that all of our readers are aware that
most corner stones in buildings are engraved with at least the
year date in which the building was built, and often more
information about the building. Now if the corner stone
was located at the top of these buildings, whether square or
otherwise, how could anyone ever read it? So what purpose
would it serve?
Yet seven times the inspired Word
clearly states that Christ Jesus has been made "the head [stone]
of the corner [stone]." How many more times does God's
Word have to repeat it before some readers take it at face value
for what it literally says? Well...???
The inspired Word explicitly states
that New Jerusalem is lighted by the glory of God, and of the
Lamb, Rev. 21:23.
The inspired Word also explicitly
states that Father God Himself has "highly exalted" the
Lord Jesus Christ, and "given Him a name above every
name." Now New Jerusalem is going to be occupied by
millions of redeemed people, each one arriving there having
their own name, 1 Corinthians 13:12.
This truth then places the residence of
the Lord Jesus Christ in New Jerusalem exactly at the top, since
Father God Himself has exalted the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ "above every name," Philippians 2:9.
This also means that the Lord Jesus
Christ will literally be the headstone and the corner stone
which resides at the top of the Great Golden Pyramid, where the
four corners of the pyramid come together. Now in view of
what these Scriptures say about Christ being "the head of the
corner," and that His name has been exalted "above every name,"
perhaps some reader would like to explain to the rest of us how
the shape of New Jerusalem can be anything other than a pyramid?
Oh yes! I did receive one
response suggesting that New Jerusalem may be a Ziggurat,
because such an architectural design does come to a peak at the
top. Folks, this word, Ziggurat, never even occurs in the
Bible. Plus, as I studied the word in the enclopedias, it
appears that Ziggurats were of Babylonian origin, with different
levels being built one on top of another, each level slightly
smaller than the preceding level, with staircases running up and
around the sides of the building. I was immediately
reminded of the Tower of Babel, built by Nimrod and those
willing to follow him, Genesis 11:1-9.
I do not believe for a minute that
Almighty God copied Nimrod's design. If anything, Nimrod
and his crowd likely got their idea for building a tower whose
top would reach into the heavens, from Satan's description of
New Jerusalem. 1 Corinthians 2:14 is still in the Bible!
The Location of New Jerusalem
Where in space is New Jerusalem located
in relation to the earth? Have any of our readers ever
pondered over this question? Before proceeding, let me
give our readers another question to ponder over.....
Natural and Supernatural
Likely most of our readers have, at one
time or another, have pondered over the difference between
the natural and the supernatural.
We all know that a natural thing
is created matter, which is visible; which can be seen, handled,
heard, smelled, and perhaps even tasted. By this we know
that it is real; that it really does exist.
But when it comes to defining what is
"supernatural," many today refuse to even believe in the
supernatural. Many reject there being a God, angels,
spirits, a Heaven and a Hell, simply because they cannot see
them visibly with their eyes, or touch them with their hands, or
hear them with their ears.
But even those who do claim to
believe in the "supernatural," often do not acknowlege it as
being "real," simply because they cannot see it. Can those
readers who are true believers see the supernatural Holy Spirit
of God? No! Not unless the Lord God chooses for Him
to be visibly seen. But is He real? Does He really indwell
the true believer? Read again John 3:3-7, 16:7-14, and
Romans
8:11-14.
We know that God is what we call a
"supernatural" being. No living person has seen God, yet
many claim to believe in His existence; that He is a reaL living
being. But, even though being "supernatural," God Himself
gave to mankind visible, tangible, proof of His
existence. How?
In the person of the Lord Jesus Christ,
who is God incarnate in the flesh. He was born of the
virgin as the "son of God," Luke 1:26-35. He lived and
walked among men in a human body for 33 years. He was totally
natural, except that He had no "sin nature" because He had been
conceived by the Holy Spirit of God, Luke 1:26-35.
He ate and drank, slept and awoke, sorrowed and felt pain, just
as do all men and women living in their natural bodies. In
His natural human body, He suffered and died, as He was
crucified on Calvary's old rugged cross. His visible
fleshly body was handled by His disciples as they prepared Him
for burial. He was buried in a rich man's tomb, and then
rose again three days and nights later. After His
resurrection, He was touched and handled by His disciples again,
even though He had experienced a "supernatural" resurrection,
John 20:19-28. And He was, and is, still a real,
living man, now dwelling in a "supernatural" body, 1 Timothy
2:5. Then forty days after His resurrection, He was
visibly caught up into Heaven in the sight of His Apostles, Acts
1:9-11.
Yes! I am laboring this point,
because there is a point, time, and place where the natural and
the supernatural meet together, both of them bcoming visible to
mankind, as proof that they are both real. They both exist; are
in existence right now, even though we call one natural, and the
other supernatural. The supernatural is just as real as
the natural, and can be visibly seen when Almighty God wants it
seen. Our Lord Jesus Christ was and is living proof
of this truth.
Now let's go back to "the
location of New Jerusalem."
I have emphasized the truth about
the natural and the supernatural, in order to present a
truth about New Jerusalem which most of our readers have never
heard, because it has deliberately been kept from the public.
The Evidence of New Jerusalem
The inspired Word explicitly
states, "The Lord hath prepared His throne in the heavens: and
His kingdom ruleth over all," Psalm 103:19. See also Psalm
11:4. Believe what the inspired Word says!
Some readers will remember that
back in 1994, the Hubble SpaceTelescope supposedly needed
repairs made to it in order for it to keep functioning in
space. This is what NASA reported to the public, but it is
what they did not report that is fascinating.
As Paul Harvey used to say, "Now here is the
rest of the story......."
The occasion at that time was
that Hubble, having been supposedly repaired, had been sent to
the very outer edge of the solar system, which is commonly
referred to as "outer space." There in the far
distance of outer space, Hubble detected a brilliant light,
which was different from any star or planet Hubble had ever
previously encountered. It was brighter than anything
Hubble had ever previously detected in space. So, even
though a great distance away, Hubble began photographing the
object, and sending the photos back to NASA's Goddard
Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The command
center located there, received hundreds of photos of this
glowing object in space. As they examined the photos
someone asked what they were examining? And someone
replied, "It looks like Heaven." And so the photos were
labeled; Photos of Heaven. In carefully examining the
photos, it was determined that the object was a great golden
city suspended or somehow floating in space. Even from
such a far distance away, the outlines of buildings could
actually be detected in the photos. Hubble is
equipped with high technology infrared radar and radio
telescopes for it's cameras. The photos were immediately
classified as "top secret," and none of them were ever released
to the public.
The readers who have read this
far are likely thinking that I have lost my mind, or am
"high" on some drug, and am making up this wild story to
entertain the readers. If you are such a reader, you
couldn't possibly be more wrong. I have evidence of
what I have just wrote, laying on my desk in front of me, right
now as I write.
I feel certain most readers will have
never previously heard this report, but I am not making it
up. Of course the reader has never heard about
it. NASA classified these photos as "top secret" and
issued an order that no NASA employee was to even mention or
discuss them with anyone. And the photos were never
released to the public. All requests to release the photos
Hubble was taking, were denied, even to astronomers and others
who had previously been receiving Hubble photos. To
this day NASA has never released any of these photos to the
public. Not one!
However, God always has His man
in the right place at the right time. There was at least
one NASA "insider," who felt that the public had a right to know
what had been discovered, and determined to let the public
know. So this NASA "insider" managed to smuggle out one of
the top-secret photos. The smuggled photo was turned over
to an independent space researcher, who had no connection to
NASA. The report is not clear whether this researcher was
Dr. Masson, or whether the smuggled photo ultimately came into
the hands of Dr. Masson. But the photo and an article, was
then subsequently published in Weekly World News in 1994, and
was reported and commented on by the editorial staff of Weekly
World News at that time. The Weekly World News criticized NASA
by saying that NASA has a "moral responsibility" to investigate
Hubble's discovery further, and to release the photos and their
findings, to the public. Sic! What has any
government agency ever cared about true "moral responsibility?"
1 John 5:19 is still in the Bible. When Weekly World News
published the story of the discovery, and the smuggled photo,
NASA officials refused to acknowlege that the photo was even a
Hubble photo. And the subject was dropped!
As I write, I have a copy of this report with the
published photo, laying right in front of me on my
desk. The headline on the article printed in Weekly
World News was, HEAVEN PHOTOGRAPHED BY HUBBLE
TELESCOPE. Now our readers can check out what I am
reporting in this study for themselves.
By the way, the photo, although dim,
outlines the shape of this great city floating in the darkness
of "outer space," as a gigantic glowing pyramid. To God be
the glory!
Conclusion
I am stopping this study right
here. I could write another two or three pages on the
subject, based on Scriptures set forth in God's Word. But I have
given the reader's enough evidence, Scriptural and otherwise,
that NEW JERUSALEM is a great Golden Pyramid sitting far above
the known solar system, awaiting the coming of the Bride of
Christ to take up residence there.......
"In My Father's house are many mansions
[abiding places]: if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself, that where
I am, there ye may be also."
John 14:2-3
My earnest and sincere prayer for every
reader, is that they know, or may come to know, Christ as their
own personal Savior, and will meet me in that Great Golden
Pyramid; our "Father's house." Acts 16:30-31; Romans
10:13.
"Even so, come, Lord Jesus," Revelation
22:20.
