It seems that there is a rush on for the world's movers and shakers to make nice with Israel. Most bizarre! After years 

of Israel being treated as a social pariah....... only just tolerated by the UN, EU, USA. Now, all of a sardine, high profile figures from the USA and UK are all over Israel like a rash! It brings to mind that the UK and USA will stand from afar, when Israel is attacked, and wonder if these marauders are "coming to take a spoil".

It all gets weirder and weirder. Talking about weird... apparently The Simpsons predicted - way back in the late 90's - that the final of the current Football World Cup would be played by Portugal v Mexico. Huh! If that comes true, then we really are living in a strange time.
