By the sacrifice of Christ Jesus we are made pure, holy and righteous before God and because of His blood we are made worthy to enter heaven. Whoever, THEN... wants to deny himself, pick up his cross  to be close to and follow Jesus, THEY... are "worthy" of Him. You would not choose as a spouse someone who was unfaithful, not pure and not totally committed to walk with you... to be married to.... and neither would Jesus.  His Bride are THOSE..... who are "worthy" of Him.
